They must close the borders or they will be in a worse situation then America. No one is built to take on this kind of responsibility. Some form of verification must be in effect to allow people in the right way.

The US really should take some in, we could handle a pretty good number without blinking and take some load off. There is a *lot* of people in need of help right now.

We're a large country with a history of taking in immigrants and refugees, and our other immigrant situations are no real problem despite some people's paranoia about them (if legalizing something makes problems vanish, it's not a problem).

I don't see why bringing in manual workers would be a bad thing. Competition for the proletariat I say!
