What do you mean with "still"? The only thing that's insane is to deport people just because they have been arrested for rape, like you suggested.
As for people who are found guilty of rape (through all court instances), and have served their time, I think it is fine to deport them, but it may not be possible or necessary, I believe that this should be judged on the individual case, not by blanket decision.

I believe in rehabilitation, the same way the German court system does (and the US court system nominally does). So if someone has done a fair sentence, and has shown themselves to have improved, and being almost certain to be a productive member of society from then forth, I believe they should get that chance. Additionally deportation into a war zone may not be feasible from a humanitarian or logistical standpoint.

Why should we care if rapists or murderers get deported into war zones? Remember these people left a horrible situation and still felt they had the right to f*cking violate someone. Instead of being grateful they had a non-war zone to go to they show how much they appreciate your country by raping your females.
