European Migration Crisis

This sounds like a recipe for disaster. Consider the mentality of some of these people and how they will react if their attempts to flirt fail?

Plus it just seems like a country has gone insane when they have to use tax payer money to pay for "flirting" classes for migrants. They should just call it what it really is, a "How Not To Be a Rapist" class.

Unfortunately, more tragic news form Germany:

Germany's Migrant Rape Crisis: Where is the Public Outrage?

Thousands of women and children have been raped or sexually assaulted in Germany since Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed into the country more than one million mostly male migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Germany's migrant rape crisis — which has continued unabated day after day for more than a year — has now spread to cities and towns in all 16 of Germany's federal states. Despite the mounting human toll, most of the crimes are still being downplayed by German authorities and the media, apparently to avoid fueling anti-immigration sentiments.

...

Public spaces in Germany have become increasingly perilous. Migrants have assaulted German women and children at beaches, bike trails, cemeteries, discotheques, grocery stores, music festivals, parking garages, playgrounds, schools, shopping malls, taxis, public transportation (buses, trams, intercity express trains and subways), public parks, public squares, public swimming pools and public restrooms. Nowhere is safe.

Speaking of Germans. What happened to Marius?

Isn't Stigma a libertarian? Why does he want the government to regulate borders?

LOL @ implying libertarians do not want to have a nation-state.

I do love how unwilling you are to actually present a coherent case for anything.

"LOL, so much fail 👆" wraps up the intellectual content in your head pretty neatly.

EDIT: oh, you just edited your post.

So why do you trust the government to "vet" whether individuals are allowed to work in your country? Shouldn't the Invisible Hand of the Free Market (TM) do that?

Hey, have you gotten the mods to let you reveal my secret Dolos identity yet?

Um... You got confused, again, on who is to make an argument.

It was you who implied that according to libertarians government should not regulate borders.

Thus, it is you who needs to explain further your argument why you think so. Good luck 👆

BTW If you don't mind, please make a separate thread on libertarianism and your view on its approach to border control etc. Let's not derail this thread. Thanks 👆

Sorry, I forgot who I was dealing with. That explanation, to put it in more easy to understand language, is that the same arguments designed to explain why the government shouldn't be trusted to regulate commerce would also apply to border restrictions because those are regulations of commerce (.i.e. who can and cannot work here). Likewise, the margin of error in vetting whether a particular prospective citizen would be a good fit for the economy is substantially greater than that in vetting whether tobacco is bad for you, so the case about government inefficiency applies even more.

And gtfo with your hypocrisy about thread derailment. 😆

Oh, so you somewhat signal what is your positon.

Would you mind extrapolating on arguments that you exactly have in mind, as of now it's rather general.

Also, if you don't mind, again, pay heed and post a thread on topic if you're into this issue. Thanks 👆

This thread is about migrant crisis in Europe.

Some playing around is cool, but tbh the topic of libertarianism and its approach to border control, and by extansion, to the idea of the nation state, that you brough up, is worthy of its own thread. No hypocrisy here, pal. Just making things easier 👆

Germany's Migrant Rape Crisis: Where is the Public Outrage?

◾"The police are not interested in stigmatizing but rather in educating the public. The impression that we are engaging in censorship is devastating to the public's confidence in the police. Sharing information about suspects is also important for developing prevention strategies. We must be allowed to talk openly about the problems of this country." — Arnold Plickert, director of the GdP Police Union in North Rhine-Westphalia.

◾"The Press Council believes that editorial offices in Germany should ultimately treat their readers like children by depriving them of relevant information. We think this is wrong because when people realize that something is being concealed from them, they react with mistrust. And this mistrust is a hazard." — Tanit Koch, editor-in-chief of Bild, the most-read newspaper in Germany.

^ Some interesting insights into the current realities of the crisis in Germany.

I dunno, I mean..in the USA given how people reacted to Brock Turner I'm really surprised they are ignoring this situation in Germany and stuff, talk about rape culture.

I mean yes I know America's rape culture is a lot worse, when a majority of the country is upset at a lenient sentence for a rapist you just know nobody cares about rape anymore.

We all need to learn how to care about rape again.

Oh look, Angela Merkel is blaming the German people for her bad policies, no surprise there! smh

YouTube video

Obviously the problem is native Germans. We should tell them racism is stupid, and not following government policy is stupid therefore racist.

I heard he came into a massive sum of money, something like 6.76 million Euros and is now living on a yacht off the coast of southern Spain with a bunch on 18-20 years old guys in short-shorts.
