What I want to know is will we now have to remove all clocks from out schools before one accidently goes off and kills someone? Will children have to be expelled if they mimic a clock using their hands? Or draws one or eats a poptart in the shape of one?
PRESIDENT OBAMA WHERE ARE YOU ON THIS SUBJECT!?
i'm also not about to read 12 pages of this, but I'll throw in my two cents.
I wholeheartedly believe that this kid intentionally caused a stir just to get his 15 minutes and go viral. I don't at all put it past a 14yo to be aware enough of the climate and his ethnicity, and think it would be a funny prank to do this during the week of 9/11.

Even now, when asked how he made the clock he can't answer. He didn't make it.
This is classic Alinsky tactic, build empathy and support for your agenda by convincing useful idots that you're oppressed.
He should have stayed arrested and his parents should be arrested.

Of course he did it intentionally. His parents put him up to it. He was told SIX times over SIX periods to put the fake bomb away and refused. When he was asked about it by the principle BEFORE the cops, he refused to talk.Even now, when asked how he made the clock he can't answer. He didn't make it.

There is none- and heck, *no-one* at any point thought he had a bomb.
They never called the bomb squad, they never got people away from the bomb, there was nothing that could be iexplosives (It was a pencil case), they even took the 'bomb' in the same police car as him.

Yeeea, that's bs. It didn't look like a bomb, it had nothing to be an explosive, it was a simple digital display and some wires attached to a power source, all clearly visible. This is a completely standard kind of project for a kid his age.
It's no more bomb than any other student clock, and as small as it was it didn't even resemble something dangerous.
The kid wasn't the one that called the police, the teacher ones. If there's anyone creating a stir, it's them.

True in some cases, but even so, they didn't even react like they thought he had a bomb. And acknowledge he wasn't trying to make a mock bomb.
