perhaps the soldier was mistaken. last i heard they're human. thats probably part why this is being investigated and no conclusions are being immediately jumped to.

Like everyone did here with Michael Brown?

I guess he did not see him chained up, my mistake, but from the article:

"Quinn and Martland were told by a young Afghan boy and his mother, through an Afghan interpreter, that the boy had been tied to a post at the home of Afghan Local Police commander Abdul Rahman and raped repeatedly for up to two weeks. When his mother tried to stop the attacks, they told the soldiers, Rahman's brother beat her. Quinn says he verified the story with other ALP commanders from neighboring villages. Then they invited Rahman to the camp.

"After the child rapist laughed it off and referenced that it was only a boy, Captain Quinn picked him up and threw him," Martland writes. Martland then proceeded to "body slam him multiple times," kick him in the rib cage, and put his foot on his neck. "I continued to body slam him and throw him for fifty meters until he was outside the camp," Martland writes. "He was never knocked out, and he ran away from our camp." The incident lasted no more than five minutes, he says."

Laughing and saying it is only a boy sounds like an admission of guilt.

So ignoring TI's silly comment. This sounds better. The fact it was verified with other commanders is important. And that he said it was only a boy. In which case that is a heinous crime.

And thats the last thing you will say about it. I doubt you will go into how this is accepted in Islam, how many boys are raped daily over there.

that was a matter of public opinion, not international military policy. big difference.

I was incorrect, I made that claim before I scoured the web looking for them., even though I didn't make op.

I apologize.

I applaud your honesty 👆

Never short on irony and a running double standard.

Touché

Liberals are siding with the boy ****er?
Why am I not surprised?

not a double standard, TI. if the military top brass jumped to and acted upon baseless conclusions, the same as the general public, i wouldn't be able to sleep at night. would you?

It's been confirmed....I would take their word over Michael Browns lying friends and the locals.

Like I said.

confirmed? iirc it's still under investigation.

The other links provided seem to suggest it is more or less legit.

The guy should be given a medal but instead we punish him.

But why do I get this funny feeling nobody is going to come out from the military and say these Afghan soldiers need to stop raping kids? They had to of known shit like this went on..which means they just didn't care.

Yea, US foreign intervention often involves palling around with some pretty horrible people. Has been the case for decades, and I'd like it if someone from some party took a stand against it.

I could go into a great many things on many religions and the horrendous things they accept or was once preached.

I don't what more there is to say... I think child abuse is a horrendous act and should be done away with.
