Finale was... Okay, I guess. They wrapped up the Amara thing far too easily imo, and does anyone REALLY care if Sam's been shot?

Was I the only one surprised nobody had any problem with the soul bomb? With even asking heaven for souls? I mean, these are innocent peoples souls they were going to destroy. I know Amara was a huge threat, but they asked the ANGELS in heaven for permission to use the souls, they sure as shit didn't seem to be asking the souls themselves. I at least expected Sam to whine about it.

The way they cut away at the end I doubt he has been shot. Furthermore why did Sam act like he knew who this person was? Why would he even say "you won't shoot me" to a STRANGER?

Was a bit shocked when I saw Mary Winchester at the end however it was a bit foreshadowing considering they went to their mothers grave. They also pulled a walking dead on us with Sam as well.

Plus why not bring back both parents?

I'm sure Mary will be dead by the end of next season. Enjoy her while she lasts Dean. It's probably best if you guys take a lot of photo's.

I also find the motives of these british men of letters hilarious. It's only NOW that they decide "hey these guys keep making shit worse" ? Really? This should of been done years ago.

Anyways, so either Sam wasn't really shot and it was a warning shot..or he was shot in a non-fatal place. Or he was shot in a fatal place, and then they use magic to heal him.

Remember these Men Of Letters guys could of been powerful immortals, but they told their most powerful magic user to f*ck off.

You guys think Castiel is evil for murdering an innocent person in order to close the gates of hell? The person was the child of a human and an angel, but Castiel himself even says she was innocent.

Castiel's judgment is somewhat suspect sometimes. It took like all of 2 minutes for Lucifer to get Cas to give him the keys to the van, so to speak. Even Sam wasn't dumb enough to fall for that one, and this show loves making Sam do stupid things.

Yeah but it wasn't just stupid, but flat out murder.

How come when Charlie was killed they didn't have Castiel come and heal her?

I try not to think too hard about the various plot points. A lot of it doesn't always hold up well under more serious scrutiny.

As to that specific point though, it is kind of odd. I remember when Castiel made his debut, he literally pulled Dean all the way out of Hell, so it should be within his power. But then Angels are a shadow of what they were when they got introduced on the show.

He's flat out healed the dead in the past(like when Bobby got neck snapped by Lucifer).

I mean okay maybe Castiel didn't bring Kevin back because another angel burnt his eyes out. But Charlie just got shanked by someone.

I mean Cas didn't just pull Deans soul out of hell he healed his corpse that had been rotting for 3 months in the ground lol.

Not sure if this thread should still be used but hey new season of Supernatural is out.

So Dean and Sam went from fighting Lucifer, Abaddon, Leviathans, and chasing down God to...getting beat up by small British women.

Considering all of the females(human or otherwise) that have slapped around the Winchesters this manages to be a new low.

It's not that issue though. This is almost like the same thing that happened to demons is now happening to Sam and Dean. Demons used to be friggin terrors, nigh unstoppable...until they weren't that unstoppable. And then a few years later they really really weren't unstoppable. We've seen the same things happening to the Angels.

So I dunno, some chick with brass knuckles beat the SHIT out of not only Dean, but Castiel as well. Were these super duper magic brass knuckles? I dunno. I sort of understand this need to make villains seem like credible threats, but I would have rather they used these more..I dunno, they kind of act like the Brits are more civilized when it comes to hunting and being Men of Letters, and then it's..nope, brass knuckle time! Setting you on fire time! Stabbing your gums with knives time.

Oh at one point they tried a spell too, but for people who claim American hunters are awful..I dunno, just seems like the main difference is merely a British accent and a heightened sense of smugness. I will admit them saying they know the moment a monster comes into Britain via wards is cool, but they didn't really seem to address the fact that America itself is a much larger hunting ground than Britain. Not to mention for some reason all the serious supernatural shit goes down in America. Apocalypse? Big show down was in America. Demons being released from hell? Happened in America. Leviathans taking over? I'm sure they weren't just in America, but they were definitely centered there.

So we still have an entire season to go, but I'm hoping to see more about how the Brits do things.

In real life possibly but on this show.. I am sure the found some (Don't weigh 95 pounds Wet) Woman who handled this two seasoned KILLERS with relative ease.

Granted I haven't seen an episode for about a season and a half, I bet I am not far off.

I'm glad they didn't kill off Lucifer.

So what are the chances that Mary will NOT be dead by the end of this season? I'm thinking maybe 12%? With at least a 45% chance Lucifer somehow ends up inside her before she dies.

Yeah, it looked like the brass knuckles had Enochian warding on it, to give it that extra kick in order to hurt Angels. Still somewhat dumb to me personally. Dean and Cass have fought groups of leviathans together, while in Purgatory. No regular human, male or female, should have humiliated the two of them that way, regardless of some magical knuckle dusters.
