@Scooby: Its late in the game as Carver and I both agreed we'd start the match on Friday, AFTER I had finalised my picks. So for him to NOW question it....

Not to mention, my use of Bizarro has been the ONE constant since we started the tourney, lol.

I think I'm switching my peeps. I should have my decision tonight.

Fair warning....if you drop either character, they're fair game to be picked up by me.

Imagine how much damage I can do with Doom or WW 😈

countering a counter draft, eh? round and round this will go... need to set a deadline for when your teams are due so switches can't just be continually made. or just send in secret teams to pg who can reveal them after the deadline.

But we all entered this tourney with the same rules. We all knew we could redraft.

Carver and I both agreed to start yesterday, on Friday.

I drafted a team, which are well fitted to Carver's draft. He could've changed then....but didn't.

NOW, he wants to change? Lol.

Put it this way. It only benefits Carver. After his round, I always knew he was going to use Doom/WW. He wasn't going to redraft.

So all it changes is he wouldn't have known I was drafting my team, lol.

I was intoxicated when we first discussed that and when I realized the next day what I said, I just went with the flow. I didn't get the chance to change anything or think about changing anything. With that said, you changed your team 5 times...it is only fair that I at least get ONE time to change my picks. Ya know, since you did change your team consistently after your win against LOB. I didn't fuss not one time when you changed your team consistently to fit mine. At least give me the chance to do the same. Complainer.

The one constant, Bizarro, has been there since the start of the tourney. Nobody complained (least of all, you).

Nobody complained with Vulcan in the Low Herald tourney.

You said nothing about him when LoB picked him in THIS tourney.

Moreover, one could argue that people drafted picks to counter my use of Fantomex. Because it was an open draft, which we all agreed on.

You agreed to a Friday start, I fixed my draft on Wed.

If anything, I have the most cause to complain...but I haven't. You're the one suddenly moaning. My scans of Bizarro were present from my OP, the very start.

FTR IF I should be fortunate enough to win, I'll be sticking with the team that brung me.

And that's fine. But on page 15, PG has always said that we could redraft....and he said this BEFORE it started.

So we all knew redrafts were possible. If carver wishes to redraft, that's fine, as he will drop either WW, or Doom...which means they're fair game for everyone.

PG also ruled that redrafts weren't closed till everyone had a shot at the first round losers and told us both to slow down for that reason when we were discussing it.

True. Like I said, dropping them makes your original picks fair game.

Let me know who I can pick from Doom or WW. WW and Bizarro would be a lovely pick. Martial arts at the speed of a Kryptonian with magical weaponry? Lovely.

For all you know, this has all been a ploy to make you drop the two strongest characters.

You have Doom, a guy who has power drained the highest of Marvel heralds (Surfer), abstracts (Beyonder), trans (Franklin), gone toe to toe physically with Indestructible Hulk (IYO, BEYOND High Herald), gone toe to toe mystically with Strange (a HH dedicated to magic), AND can then summon Mindless Ones (IYO, HHs), THEN combined with WW, who IYO is FASTER than Flashes (the FASTEST mid-heralds), IYO faster than the highest of DC heralds (Superman), almost a peer of the strongest of heralds (Supes) in strength, with a lasso that has restrained many a HH....and then you have the nerve to cry foul?

You break the gentleman's agreement we had, when I SPECIFICALLY warned you even before your match was ended with Scoob, that I would redraft, of BZing on Friday, by now claiming you were drunk. Then that you 'just went with the flow'.

Just own up, and admit you're terrified of meeting me in a BZ. You drafted two EXTREMELY strong characters, that has unanimously been regarded as the strongest team in the BZ - and now you're running scared, because you know I can thrash you with a Mid, a Low and a High Meta.

Edit: and btw, don't think I don't see why you suddenly opened a thread up asking about Manchester Black vs Cable, lol. That would involve dropping either WW (who I will pick up for her TP immunity) or Doom (who has TP immunity).

this is pretty funny right now. isn't there a bit of a problem with even ALLOWING redrafts right now though....? 😕

if you guys get to redraft, then get a chance at each others' picks while all the other matches are still going, isn't that...a bit unfair to the others who do NOT have the chance to repick...? not like smurph could grab doom if he were dropped.

it would seem if redrafting IS an option, then the only fair way would be to wait until the other matches are ended, no? that way everyone has an equal chance at all the characters on the board...? shrug

I said a long time ago that it was dumb to change characters and to stick with who we had. It was you all that went against this. I thought that was the deal from the beginning...keep who we had. It was you and PG that attacked me when I said it wasn't smart to switch up characters.
