Broly takes this, Whilst it is a hard take down put on hulk Broly is incredibly fast and king Kai even said "he is currently destroying the south galaxy", the guy survived a planet destroying super metor for christ sakes
hulk is fast enough i suppose but not broly fast, WBH can tank a few hits but the speed goku and broly were fighting at far excedes what the hulk can withstand, world breaker or not

I mean who wants to get covered in lava if they can avoid it..even if it doesn't hurt? Krillin just wanted to feel useful because he knows deep down his family hates him.
Reminds me of that episode of Justice League where Supes fights Doomsday inside a volcano and then at the end WW swoops down and saves him as lava is about to engulf him.
if krillian didn't help gohan then gohan WOULD have been hurt
his kai levels wern't exactly at full power and as we know the body is incredibly vunrably with low- no kai at all

Even more moral. It was a plot point in the film. Gohan attempted to end the entire encounter with lava. He even said it was all over and took a nap. Lava can harm Broly. Maybe not kill but harming isn't in question
