Okay. So, watching episode two and the problem is that they are trying to basically catch you up on what Trish has been up to between seasons, among other things, but she was such a horrendously unlikable piece of garbage in S2 that I find myself just not really caring about her adventures at all and wanting the story to shift back to other characters.

They really tapped into the pulse of the fans cuz damn we needed some more I want ya cray cray.

first 2 and half episodes have been garbage..

"I'm unstoppable." Immediately gets one-shotted. 😆

anyone watch eps 4 and up yet

About halfway through the season, I dont hate Trish anymore now tbh. Guess I feel they did an alright enough job making her atone by a certain point, though I like Eric as a supporting character more who they introduced this season.

Eh, after 3 episodes, I still think she is a POS. Like when,

Spoiler:
Jessica passes out on the sidewalk and Trish finds her. Instead of staying with her friend to actually make sure she's okay, she steals something out of her pocket and dumps her on a total stranger, who, for all Trish knew, could have mugged the helpless Jessica and buggered off. And then she has the audacity to judge people like Malcolm about their work.

Love the season so far

after five episodes this season hasn't even improved... the relationship between jessica and trish is garbage and the stuff involving

Spoiler:
Foolkiller
isn;t entertaining to say the least

Okay, my last post didn't age too well. Trish is still garbage, but the final episodes gave a fitting conclusion to her character.

Spoiler:
I did feel for her losing her mother, but sympathy can only go so far. All those killings were kinda expected though for her being Hellcat and all.
Solid season I felt coming in after the mess that was the previous one; didn't have the magic of the first season, nor was I expecting it to, but for a sendoff I feel it worked much better than like Punisher season 2, and it hurts me saying that since the Punisher was at least in my top two favorites out of these shows initially.

does trish actually wear the hellcat costume?

No. Kinda figured she wouldn't given how the 2nd episode sorta took a jab at the source material with the silly looking costumes.

thanks

Eight episodes in now. It's not on par with JJ S1, but it's definitely a huge improvement on the 2nd season, and also better than Punisher S2 so far, at least IMO.

Salinger is what I imagined Dexter would have become if he never met Harry.

yea didn't like this season.. foolkiller wasn't that good of a character, but the actor's portrayal was pretty good. patsy as the villain didn't like.

The episode 10 reveal with

Spoiler:
Trish going off the rails
was rather predictable. But it actually makes more sense than previous shitty behaviour.
Spoiler:
She literally found her mother dead, who'd been brutally tortured and murdered by the guy she'd been trying to stop, and then finds out he's going to walk away without even a slap on the wrist. And let's not forget that a big plot point of the previous season was how that specific brand of super power experimentation that Jessica, her mom and Trish went through results increased aggression and violent tendencies.

Finished this up last night. Overall, I thought it was a fairly solid season. Not on the same level as the best Netflix Marvel seasons we got, but a better send off than I was expecting after JJ S2 and the cancellation controversy.

Still sad to see it all come to an end, especially after a certain cameo during the finale reminded me of how open-ended a lot of the other things were left off, and that we will never see any of it play out.

Does anyone remembers in episode 11 aka Hellcat, when that name hellcat is mentioned? I think every episode title makes its way into some sort of dialogue in that particular episode. But I don't remember Hellcat being used although that would go against previous episode's titles history.

The main plot of this season reminded me of last season too much where JJ attempted to stop a close family member who was distributing her own brand of "permanent justice."

Am I the only one who thinks Trish comes off as desperate and sad in this?

Seeing her get b*tch slapped was hilarious. And warranted.

"I'm unstoppable"

*b*tch slapped by someone missing a spleen*

"Oh"

giggle, bam boom, straight to the moon!

They really destroyed her character making her go full "queen of the ashes" mode. Given her encounters and knowledge of people like kilgrave and the reason she gave for killing JJ mom in season 2, having her go down a similar path was horrible writing to me. So much other stuff could have been done with Trish, I wonder if this ending would have stayed the same if the Marvel shows on netflix wasn't over.
