If the teacher said any answer was wrong based on her own beliefs. That to me is wrong.
The teacher said you can't call God a fact as it isn't provable. That's not an unreasonable position. 'There is a God' does not belong in the same category as, say, 'Canada is north of the United States'. It's certainly nothing like forcing kids to say God is a myth.
Not that this was a good exercise from the teacher. Reasonable or not, you should never use potentially contentious issues on exercises, and I also question the validity of having 'commonplace assertion' as a third option at all (A CA is just a widely held opinion).
Regardless, the central accusation here is not true. The girl was mistaken.
