Lucifer Vs Thanos (Classic IG)

I was like htf is that possible for 'multiversal' powers? It's not like they were outside the Vertigoverse or anything.

Recently I began to doubt my skepticism and then Astner dropped the bomb and I'm right back to doubting Team Vertigo.

Lucifer was never at full power during the series.

In the beginning, he voluntarily depowered himself by wing removal.

Then he got them back, minus a couple feathers (which is important), and that made him powerful enough to effortlessly tank the entirety of Michael's demiurgic power and warp it into a multiverse.

Then he was depowered again by God's departure and the unraveling of creation (until Elaine restored it, at which point Lucifer again willingly depowered himself).

Context! They don't care about no stinkin context.

True story. 👆

Technically, the only time Lucifer was ever shown at full power was back in Sandman, when he was still the Lord of Hell(ie. before he had Morpheus remove his wings.) Granted, he was *close* to full-power during his solo series, when he reacquired his wings and whipped up his own creation, but as Cog said: his wings were missing a few feathers, thus his power was reduced as a result. Toward the end of the series, Lucifer willingly gave Mazikeen the bulk of his power, and was left [relatively] powerless as a result... And he is still [relatively] powerless in his current ongoing.

Yeah, take that zop you summer scarf wearing piece of anal scab

hell those 2 feathers that were missing were powerful enough to enable the basanos to nearly kill him using his own power..... were he not constantly depowered throughout, it...wouldn't have been much of a series i'm afraid. be like silver surfer stepping in to clean up gotham or something.

That's an official retcon

.. But, this is "classic" IG at play, which makes that notion you mentioned irrelevant.

That aside, the Gems shattered (momentarily) due to Cap's fault. Literally stated.

IG is being assembled as we speak. It's all good.

Current IG is classic IG unless you have the scan where it got depowered?

How is it Cap's fault?

Yes, Lucifer destroys puny IG. Its that simple.

If Lucifer can be brought down by two measly wings, think of what the IG can do!

Those 2 feathers are from a being that's Literally Gods will himself.

So yeah, there more than 2 measly feathers.

Dreamers shape everything. Next time I dream I'm killing them all.

Are you stupid are just retarded? God created the Multiverse, then Michael and Lucifer. After everything, humans came too be. So tell me, how the hell does humans dreamed God. That's the definition of a ****ing paradox you idiot.

Take a step back and stop being a moron and open you're eyes. God wasn't talking about the humans in the comics, but the writers that dreamed him. That meant real life people like Carrey, Morrison and the countless author that brought him to life in the comics. I.E. The dreamers that makes him who he is.

It's so ****ing easy to understand.

Lucifer got beaten by pigeon wings and had to be saved by a little girl.

Facts.

I am intelligent unlike yourself so let me educate you. This wasn't the first multiverse and he wasn't the first supreme being. He was dreamed into being by other fictional human beings. No fourth wall nonsense was referenced in the scan Carey alluded to. The fact this terrifies you should tell you you're a little too invested in this. I am happy to ruin this for you. 🙂

Carey is awesome.

Wow. Squally just snapped on you plebs. 😂
