Warcraft (2016)

Seems like the good video game movies are the ones that get released straight to dvd or have a limited run in the cinema.

It wasnt bad. Fun way to kill a few hours. 👆

Warcraft vs. Lotr needs to happen.
No, it really doesn't.

LOTR >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Warcraft in terms of history and story.

Warcraft will win due to the blatant use of magic that certain characters have. Warcraft is just ripped off of Warhammer though; Warhammer is>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Warcraft

I think everyone knew The Conjuring 2 would win the weekend..

Now just imagine if The Conjuring went up against Bats v Supes on opening weekend hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I felt that he was pretty decent in this. He didn't have that same level of underlying menace as he does when he plays Ragnar in Vikings, but he wasn't meant to.

thanks

Warcraft was supposed to win. A horror movie that only cost 40 M to make beat out a fantasy film that cost 160. LOL.

Did people really expect Warcraft to make a lot of money?

You've really become weak in the last years.

Just punch yourself already, Fakeset.

It will probably do around 26-29 million. Much lower than what expectations had going for it.

What were the expectations?

People were hoping for 45 million. After the first choice numbers, it's no surprise that it did so poorly.

I don't get the distaste for Warcraft. Watched it a half hour ago and it's a pretty decent flick. Perhaps everyone's expectations were a little too high? Anywho, I give this a 7/10.

Doing pool and drinking before seeing a 10pm showing?

How much beer will I need? Between sober and "Bathroom breaks every ten minutes?"

It's not a bad movie, especially if you like fantasy.

^ Good to hear

will be seeing the movie this week

regarding movie critics in general, Its like they've gone bat-shit crazy lately saying every movie should aim to be Oscar-Worthy.

It's almost like they have a personal vendetta against this movie.

Granted, it's easy to hate on Activision and Blizzard these days. But didn't think the movie was bad enough to warrent bottom feeder review scores..

^ Or they're starting to have a dislike for geek related movies.

Or maybe they just didn't like the movie. Just because Warcraft is a popcorn fantasy flick with no Oscar ambitions doesn't mean its problems are justified or should be overlooked.
