Warcraft (2016)

The movie isn't perfect, but I personally feel like some of the criticism is a bit much. It's really not as bad as some critics would have you believe. I went to watch it with the same person I watched BvS, and we both actually found Warcraft more enjoyable. And that is despite said friend not being clued in on the games.

I heard it was worse than BvS.

Better or worse are subjective terms. All I can say is that I personally enjoyed it more than BvS, and so did my friend.

Definitely not.

BvS was straight garbage.

Wow. Lower than I initially thought. Might not get a sequel.

nah that movie was a outright failure.

I kind of place BVS on a tier with stuff like The Phantom Menace, a failure in most aspects but has enough decent scenes to not be outright shit. It pales in comparison to a lot of other Superhero films. I'm not sure if the Ultimate edition will change any of that, either.

BVS had decent box office numbers and will still reap in more money through DVD and blue ray sales. Definitely enough to carry on with the DCEU. Not sure if Warcraft will get a sequel. It barely beat Now You See Me 2. Haha.

hahahahahahaha... nearly $262 million overseas with $ 156 million in China alone says otherwise...

Domestic counts more, dummy. OS is the only thing saving it from being a failure. Point is, hardly anybody cares about Warcraft in the US. Most of it's business is in China.

Of course hardly anyone cares about it, it's a movie adaption of a video game...

Well, yeah. Doesnt bode well for a sequel. There is always a chance. If Pacific Rum can get one (which cost 30 million more), then Warcraft has a shot. Hope it's better than the first.

Exactly.

The studios don't get as much of the overseas total as the domestic.

Warcraft had a huge Sunday drop off though. And China if I'm not mistaken gets a pretty big cut of that 156 million, more than other countries I believe.

calm down.

I've no time for stupid shit as I have much more important things to worry about than some punk.......

anyways the overseas numbers will most likely get this a sequel ...

I hope so. And I hope it's significantly better than this garbage.

Pretty much.

Doing much better in the US though usually equates to doing far better in ancillary.__ Whereas, China barely has an ancillary market which is why even if Legendary is getting the same 55% cut from theaters in China as in the U.S. it's making nearly nothing from the market after it leaves theaters there.

You can't just rely on OS.
