Terrorist. Reports are all mixed, but several sources say many hostages have been taken; possibly in multiple locations.

So unfortunately they'll likely be more deaths.

Edit: BBC is saying up to 60 hostages being held in the Bataclan theater.

Complete confusion about what's been going on so far- as is ever the way with these things.

Latest BBC report says over 100 hostages at the Bataclan, but some may have escaped.

Alongside the shootings, police now reporting a bombing at the Stade de France; some casualties.

Rumours that landmarks like the Louvre and Pompidou Centre have been attacked- no facts yet.

More reports coming in.

EDIT: Reports coming in of further explosions at the Bataclan. Possible police action under way, there, so that could be all sorts of things.

Fox is saying "100 hostages"

Reports saying Bataclan being stormed by French forces.

Fingers crossed, no more victims.
