GOP candidates are starting to weigh in on this, after a couple-day silence. Obviously they're condemning it wholeheartedly. But Huckabee made me laugh sardonically, who - in the middle of condemning the murders - managed to throw out that "millions" of babies are killed in PP facilities. Would love to see those statistics, beyond the fact that he couldn't help but get a political dig in while discussing a terrorist tragedy. Most, at least, took the high road.

So we are indeed classifying this as a terrorist attack?
I also think people like Carly Fiorina, who lied about Planned Parenthood and incited violence by this, are partially responsible for these kinds of attacks. In general the partisan, aggressive climate that Republicans have created is a prime breeding ground for violent extremists to cling on to.
The rhetoric that they use is toxic, whether it is calling Planned Parenthood baby killers, or equating Obama with ISIS. It's not fair and it has real violent consequences, they cost people their lives, it's disgusting.
🙄
Carly Fiorina lied. Riiiiiight.
Funny how you don't give a shit that Hillary lies with every other word that comes out of her mouth but you love to attack any Republican with absolutely no proof of them lying whatsoever. Here's a little secret for ya:
Carly >>>>>>>> Hilldog. She's better Presidential material, she doesn't constantly lie, she's not nearly as digusting looking or sounding as Hillary, she doesn't race-bait or play the sex card like HIllary does, doesn't wanna take away American's God-given rights, wasn't responsible for getting four Americans killed in Benghazi, doesn't wanna turn America into a socialist society like Hillary does, AND she has infintely more class than Hillary does too. 👆
I don't think their looks have anything to do with whether they are Presidential material.
At any rate, Carly Fiorina did lie about the videos. She claimed there was footage that does not exist. The problem is that using rhetoric like calling people that work for Planned Parenthood "baby killers" inspires violent extremists to do these kind of deeds (which are after all not uncommon).

BLM has been known to label cops as racists (or worse). Are they responsible for inciting violence against police officers?
Calling someone racist is not the same as alleging that people murder and cut up babies to sell them for profit, which is just a bold faced lie, designed to evoke an emotional, angry response.
Of course some of the things that some people associated with BLM say is also problematic and should be called out. But afaik theres no high profile politicians, no presidential candidates, no media outlets, that claim anything comparable to the rhetoric of "pro-life" advocates.
Ted Cruz Goes Into Full Lying Mode re Planned Parenthood Shooting
"Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) downplayed the role anti-abortion rhetoric may have played in the fatal shooting of three people at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado and suggested the suspect was a “transgendered leftist activist" at a campaign stop in Iowa on Sunday.
Speaking with reporters following the event, Cruz rejected suggestions that the shooter was part of the anti-abortion movement, taking issue with the “vicious rhetoric on the left blaming those who are pro-life.”
Robert Lewis Dear, 57, was taken into custody Friday night after allegedly opening fire inside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, killing three and injuring nine others.
When a reporter reminded the Texas senator that the suspect allegedly made a comment about “baby parts” while being arrested, Cruz countered, “It’s also been reported that he was registered as an independent and a woman and transgendered leftist activist, if that’s what he is.”
Yup, Ted Cruz is correct. Some rightwing rag did report that Robert Lewis Dear seems to be registered as a woman. So, does that make him (Robert Dear) a “transgendered leftist activist" or does it indicate that somebody made a typographical error? Or does it mean that rightwing scum like Ted Cruz and the prolife movement are desperately trying to deflect attention from the results of their incitement, ie the Planned Parenthood attacks?

And oh yeah, GOP contender and compulsive liar Carly Fiorina is jumping on the stupidly deceitful bandwagon: http://theslot.jezebel.com/carly-fiorina-calls-planned-parenthood-shooter-a-protes-1745122854
Cruz is just trying to keep his name in the headlines. He knows he has no chance at ever becoming President.
With that said I do agree with one thing: if people are blaming those who are "pro life" for this then that's pretty strange. As if the guy represents everyone who is pro life and I say this as someone who is pro choice.
Blame the piece of subhuman trash who pulled the trigger, not anyone else. No, don't even blame the people who made those videos that supposedly talk about selling baby parts. Whoever made the video did not force this man(yes man, I don't care what gender he claims to be) to react to it in the manner he did.
If this guy did it truly because he was against abortion then that still doesn't actually say anything in regards to if abortion is good or bad.
At the end of the day the man was responsible for his own choices, he was responsible for how he chose to react to the video. Nobody put the gun in his hand, he chose this.
I don't care who fired who up. Be a grown ass adult about it and don't let other pieces of shit rile you up to the point of murder.
Now if Carly lied or whatever okay, ban her from running for President then. In fact ban every candidate who has ever told a lie in the past few years.
