Does there need to be? Is it harder to escape Timepoint than wrestle MJJ out of time-space and all reality against his will? After tanking everything he could throw at you? THe guy who could destroy the Omniverse?
Amazo copies powers. Fury adapts to become immune to them and evolve a way to beat the person using those powers against him. Or to solve whatever situation or crisis it's in.

I guess he could adapt, but there is still the fact that Amazo can copy his adapting abilities on top of the Worlogog and JLA abilities. Amazo would be stacked, too.

And Fury would simply evolve again. Fury will always be more powerful due to the simple fact that no matter what Amazo copies, Fury can go beyond that. Amazo takes Fury to Timepoint? Fury makes sure Amazo can't leave.
Besides, you said in the first page Amazo doesn't have the Worlogog, why is it even in the conversation?

And Amazo will adapt to be even beyond Fury. It can go both ways. We've seen Amazo copy powers and use them more intelligently than the actual user.
