The article mentions that the person being apprehended made a motion twice to his jacket pocket. The same pocket was shown to contain a loaded 9mm pistol.
I mean I hate when any police shooting happens but if there is going to be a justified shooting this is the one that would be. The person was known to be armed and had made previous threatening statements about being taken alive.
In the video you can clearly see him twice reach for his jacket and he continues to drop his arms and spin around until he is shot.
At least it was caught on video so we can clearly see what happens in the shoot out. This was just a silly loss of life that should have been avoidable.
