The Flash

Losing the director is a pity. The Flash is probably one of my favourite DC characters, so I was hoping that they could actually put out a good film for him. Obviously it's still very early days, but losing the director certainly isn't going to help things.

^ Yeah same feeling. I'd love a great Flash movie, and that critically acclaimed director was a big bonus for this project. But this looks to be in a mess now. Plus I don't even like Ezra's take on the character tbh.

Yikes. This is the second time they've lost their director isn't it?

Is it because of something WB is doing that's causing directors to leave. Maybe this is a ploy to get Snyder into directing a Flash movie as well.

Well they keep leaving over "creative" differences. So not a good sign given WB's motto of being a filmmaker driven studio.

the DC cinematic universe has been a mess since the beginning. D. Thor proclaimed batman v Superman would be bigger than Star Wars. Idiot.

There have been a few directors leaving Marvel, too. Director of WW walked off Thor, so...

They'll just replace the director. Rumor has it, WB is targeting Edgar Wright.

Marvel has been hitting it out of the park. DC has been struggling every film along the way. This is just another huge strike against DC and it's weak product. 😂

This is pretty much true. Dr.Strange is getting awesome reviews and WB/DC just cant seem to do anything right.

Critic wise, yes, but you said anything, and that's far from the truth. SS was a huge hit.

It made money, but the movie itself sucked. It was like a car crash,,,,you know its not going to be a pretty sight, but you have to look anyways.

Meh, a lot of people liked it. That's all that matters, because it's getting a sequel and spin offs.

I know the critics loved it.

And some people loved

just not you.

I hope Flash gets a good director. Edgar Wright would be a good choice. He was attached to the rumor names on the 4chan list. Same with Doug Liman, and he was announced for Justice League Dark.

Who would you want to be the villain?

To you and the bean counters, maybe.

And the studio. 🙂

Yeah but this is the 3rd time they're changing directors on the same damn film.

Marvel's never had a film in this much of a mess on the creative side.

Seth left, and now Rick. 2 times. I actually didn't want Seth to direct, anyway. He doesn't have a long track record.
