Who knows? Trailer isn't even out yet, but it's backed by a quality director and you have guys like Grant Morrison and Geoff Johns helping out.

Looks like the Rogues will be the villains in the movie.

Yuck. I love the Rogues but this is too much too soon.

Agreed. Too many villains are just rhe same as having too many heroes. It's a hard balance to pull off a good movie. This is going to be SS where they'll rush each villains and Flash's backstory. WB are going to come in and the edit the f#ck out of this movie to give one or two villains more screen then the others against the wishes of their director.

WB doesn't want to take small steps. They just want to put it all out there and showcase as much as possible.

The Rogues act as a team. 😂

And they're the main villains for Flash.

And?

They are still individual characters with unique backstories that need time to be developed lest they just come across as boring one dimensional villains. Heck, even Sony isn't dumb enough to jump straight into the Sinister Six.

Beyond that, this film has to set up Flash as well. If this rumor is true, it seems this film is trying to tackle way to much.

The same could be said about the X-Men or GOTG, yet each studio managed to pull it off. It's all in the execution.

X-Men all have similar origins being Mutants. Beyond that, they are regularly criticized by focusing primarily on Wolverine. GotG's characters are also similar to one another in that they are aliens. But, the real difference is that these are all heroes and the movies is focused on them. Unless the Flash focuses on the villains, it's likely going to run into the same problems as films like ASM2 and SM3.

But the rogues are all similar in that they are all rogues. 😖hifty:

Yes they were all born Rogues. No other explanation or backstory needed.

Seriously though, depends where they're going with this. Going in straight with the biggest villain isn't always a good idea. Perhaps the film just focuses more on Flash so needs some throwaway villains.

so no sequel good.. hahahahha... guess they will have the transgender Ezra traverse time so they can reboot the DCEU hahahhahaha..
