It's actually pretty decent tbf. Some of the humour lands and some doesn't. Some of the emotional stuff lands and some doesn't. Some of the CGI is hilariously abysmal (the time crucible sequences are like PS1 cuts cutscenes bad) and some is excellent (the Zod battle). The hospital action scene is a Quicksilver X-men try-hard copy that is extremely poorly done. The following Batfleck chase is good.

Ezra Miller is good but not good enough for you to forget that he's a creepy child abductor and woman beater.

Keaton, as expected, steals the show.

👆

It was better than the avarage comic book movies that we get nowdays but that is not saying much since most of it is trash.

I really liked how the alternate timelines and universes were shown visually and some of the emotional scenes were done pretty good but it had some 'meh' moments.

Overall I kinda liked it but it did give me kind of mixed feelings here and there...

It was very good. About on par with Guardians 3 for me.

Also Flash curbs any MCU Avenger

I thought this was pretty good for the most part.

Except for the abysmal CGI characters towards the end. That shit was cringe.

All this "it's pretty good" talk is going to give Stilt an aneurysm.

More than half the movie.

The 2 Barry's go to Wayne Manor after finding out that while Metahumans don't exist in that timeline, Batman does. They find long haired, bearded Keaton who fights with them. They explain what's happening with regards to Zod's arrival. He refuses to help. The 2 Barry's break into the Batcave and use the equipment to try and find Clark Kent. Keaton watches them on the security cameras the whole time. The Barry's don't manage to find Superman but while they're asleep, Keaton finds files showing that "Clark" is being held in a facility in Russia. Keaton helps plan and execute the rescue of what turns out to be Kara Zor-El, Kal-El's cousin. Turns out Zod had intercepted Kal's pod on it's way to earth and that he didn't have the codex implanted into him, Kara did.
Keaton helps main timeline Barry get his powers back and Keaton, Kara and the 2 Flash's go off to fight Zod and his crew. Keaton and Kara keep dying and Barry 2 keeps reversing time and trying different things to defeat Zod. Barry 1 realises that this is one of the things that can't be changed and no matter what they do, that version of earth is always destined to be destroyed by Zod.

thanks

I think it was really good. The CGI according to the Director is supposed to be like that because it's Barry's POV and how he perceives the world.

Of the 2 hours and 25 minutes Keaton isn't in the firstb40 mins or the last 15 to 20. He's probably absent from about 10 to 15 minutes or so of the rest.

LOL Nam-Ek is MCU supersoldier level now.
Holy shit

I enjoyed it overall, pleasantly surprised as I went in with low expectations, but it's decent in its own right.

The pluses and minuses have been noted by others. But I must reiterate the point that the CGI at times is laughably bad in some scenes. Don't get it, good CGI just takes money thrown at it.

The movie was pretty decent time overall. Wouldn't mind seeing more of this iteration of Supergirl though given the upcoming reboot that's just not going to happen most likely. Keaton Batman being a whole character was a nice touch too.

Then of course there's the plethora of uncanny valley CGI shots. Weird choice to have.

It wasn't a money thing. According to reports they spent $300m on Flash. An interview with the director he said he actually planned the bad CGI to show Barry's perspective. His perspective is so slow that it looks like bad CGI. It's supposed to be purely an artistic decision. A little silly but that's why. That being the case I don't know why they didn't add a line for you Barry saying how stuff looked like a bad movie at speed.

the good... michael keaton and sasha calle

the bad EVERYTHING ELSE

from mr. j'lo to heshe miller my goodness this was not good.. michael shannon clearly returned for the $10-$15million dollar paycheck. the horrid plot, hallmark movies have better plots

Just a nitpick..

Spoiler:
How the F did Supergirl get impaled so easily? Also NicCageMan was pite gold.

exactly. a couple lines explaining why the cgi looked so f*cking terrible in that scene would have gone a long way, but here we are.

kara was pretty weak, and certainly nowhere nearly on par with mos superman. she basically got out of her imprisonment and fought zod like the same day. her powers were in their infancy, which is why she continuously burned out after fighting seriously.

^ I thought it was due to

Spoiler:
Kryptonian-weapons. As young Flash impales Faora with her weapon

Honestly I dug the film. Much more fun than I expected. Keaton-Batman fans wont be disappointed.

The bad - could have landed the ending better story wise.

In any case this flopped hard. Im not sure if Gunn can help DC Films at this point. Audiences just arent giving them a chance anymore.

Yeah it bombed hard and WB did everything they could to try and make it a hit. It's obvious audiences don't care about the DCEU at this point.

Blue Beatle/Aquaman are DOA and will probably flop just as bad.

Gunn's Superman Legacy has a massive uphill battle on its hands.

^ Man that

Spoiler:
post credit scene
was so bad. Im sure no one will watch Aquaman 2 either.

I feel its too soon for Gunns Superman. They need to take a 5 year hiatus before rebooting. No ones interested right now.

this'll be on Max next month

barry also phased/vibrated when he did that.

kryptonian metals + phasing = the ability to kill kryptonians, apparently. which is strange, because based on that i don't see why he couldnt have just solod all of the kryptonians.

you can probably thank ezra for that tbh. a lot of people just aren't going to see the movie because he is a terrible piece of shit irl.

Not sure most the audience knows the details of that tbh. Im thinking of Shazam 2 flopping hard as well.

On the other hand if a rebooted solo Batman can make bank then maybe a rebooted solo Superman can too. So will just have to wait and see.
