Only want to comment on the idea of cheaper medicine:

At least in the United States, a single trip to the ER could break many families. People turn down ambulance rides mid heart attack due to the costs of health care.. Perscription drugs are one of the biggest businesses in America.

Veterans aren't even fully covered anymore. Now they have to pay, where before all meds were free.

Low unemployment is nice and all but it's far from the only important factor in measuring an economy's health. Besides that, I was talking about your claim that we're in a boom, which I've not heard from any media outlet. Like I said, the economy is slowly but surely recovering, but we're far from in a boom.

.

The stock market was definitely booming its only as of late been coming down.

Lowest unemployment figues in how long? The economy rides peaks and valleys its always recovering or in decline, grow up and deal with it.

No one needs safe places like millenials need more excuses apparently.

However, claiming that millennials have it so easy is ridiculously asinine, especially when made on the premise that we have it easier because technology has advanced and we now have cellphones and computers.

While this won't make your life "easy" it ABSOLETULY does make life easier in may respects. Finding jobs, information, school etc etc

Grow up and deal with what? I've never denied that the economy moves in ups and downs, in fact that's the first thing you'll learn in any entry-level economics class. An economic boom is a very distinct term that refers to significant, consistent economic growth for an extended period of time (like China in the '90s, for example). From your faulty usage of economic terms, and earlier admittance that you're just regurgitating what you claim you've read elsewhere, it's very clear that you don't know much about economics, which is fine, but quit pretending that you do. Grow up and deal with it.

I never claimed it didn't make life easier. But it hardly makes up for the economic hardship left by previous generations.

Everyone please keep in mind that bardock is a morbidly obese white guy who is rich from his daddies capitalist ventures.
Bardock had it much harder than my grandfather who fought in world War 2 and was locked in a pow camp for over three years.

And as we all know, Bardock is the proto-millennial and each and every millennial, no matter race, place of birth or cultural background has taken the exact same path in life.

Whoa, where the heck did that come from? Somehow I doubt you are buddies enough with bardock to pass that off as banter. If that's all you can resort to in the thread, please do not post.

I posted it twice on the last page where I've also explained that having this discussion is nonsensical as everyone comes from a different country with a different recent history. What is stupid however is your (and others in this thread) tendency to generalise all millennials as if they're all cut from the same whiny cloth.

Slay let's hear your life story

I was born and raised in Rand, West Virginia, where I learned to shoot guns and round up cattle shortly after my 5th birthday. I been fearing God, voting GOP and hatin' Goddamn liberals with a fury since the beginning.

Thanks for putting GOP in a box. GOP are just as bad as the dems.
I'm conservative because I saw what causes poverty in this country. I lived through it.
Have you ever been poor

Seriously though, you want me to tell you my life story so you can proceed to tell me my life has not been as difficult as your grandfather's who was in a POW camp. But again, I've never argued that EVERY millennial has had it harder than EVERY member of any other generation. All I've ever said in this thread is that it's asinine to claim that millennials as an entire generation have had it easier than previous generations. Especially the two previous generations, which would not include your grandfather.

If you're going to continue replying to me at least have the courtesy to read my previous posts so that you can at least make replies that somewhat connect to what I've actually said in this thread.

Ok. It's pretty clear why you won't answer. I'll stop asking

I won't answer because I have no interest in divulging personal information about myself to someone I don't know and don't care for on a public message board. Even if I did, it would be completely irrelevant to the discussion, as I've explained several times and which you would know if you'd actually read my previous posts.

Besides that, it wouldn't matter as again, it depends on cultural interpretation. In my country I might've been poor, compared to someone from Liberia, I would've been rich.

Slay. I have no problem with you. I can't even blame you for your line of thought. I simply feel sorry for you and people like you. You don't even have a chance. Let's both agree not to address each other. I wish you luck my friend. You will need it

Clearly you have a chip on your shoulder as seen by your "dissertation."

I clearly wasn't writing an economic analysis but simply mocking the way the economy is being written up.

Doesn't matter, it just gave the millenial whine piece more substance.

Nice dodge. You managed that without ever having even addressed any of the things I've actually said or knowing any of my points of view. I'm sure you're a real intellectual in your own mind.

You falsely claimed the economy was booming to give credence to your replies to counter Bardock's points that millennials in the Western world have been the victim of economic hardships. I explained to you how you're claim was false and how your attempts to defend your claims were false to the point that they betrayed that you actually have no idea what you're talking about it.

Please quote the post in which I wrote a ''millennial whine piece''.

I'm a millennial and it pains me to say that most of my peers can't be saved. It's the beginning of the end for manhood

Because you sound like a petulant child.

What is so difficult that other generations didn't have to overcome? What fiscal policies are overwhelming to this younger generation that others didn't face?

You didn't describe your particular situation but rather the "feel" of the economy.

Hence you sound whiny.
