Politicians love the uneducated and also the folk who feel they are educated. Think about it: the uneducated do not know any better and the educated falsely believe they know better, but truly don't. Intellectuals have their own bubbles they live in, just as the non-intellectuals do. Yet the former group has somehow managed to convince themselves everyone *but* them live in bubbles.
Case in point: some of these liberals you see marching for "science". They totally "love science" guys. Love it like a fad or a religion. Saying they love science is the modern day equivalent to going out and buying a Kabbalah bracelet because you think it's cool.
