I know why he isn't there, I'm saying that he needs to be present in the movies.

I used to think so, too. But I really don't think he's missed much. He was actually kind of boring. Pretty wooden character if you ask me. There's far more interesting character actors in the series and Kate Beckinsale fills the gaps perfectly with some emotion attachment for the audience.

After Awakening I was a little concerned with where the series was going. But to me Blood Wars sort of put it back on track.

I'm excited to see where they go with it from here.

Iliked 1 and 3. I can wait for dvd or dl to see this one.

I wonder if this series will continue on the Direct to Home Release circut now that....well if you saw the movie or got spoilered...YOU KNOW...

It had a pretty bad opening, so maybe nowhere.

What are you referring to?

It's doing okay over seas. And it was cheap to make. Budget of only $35 million. Time will tell.

Thats got nothing to do with it. 😂

Honestly, Michael was a much more interesting character than Selene. She would have been a blind little adherent if not for him. Actually Kraven and Lucien were more interesting than she was as well, and it was nice seeing Lucien back in RotL.

Yeah we're talking about 2 different things, and i dont care enough about the movie to risk a circular argument. 👆

Better than Awakening, but these new movies will never be as good as the first three. None of the new characters can hold a candle to Michael, Markus, Viktor or Lucian, and Selene is definitely not interesting enough to carry these movies.

And that last battle.... Dude talk about anti-climatic.

I actually liked it a little smaller scale, a little more intimate. It's not a ridiculous Marvel movie climax with too much shit going on.

And Marius's

Spoiler:
decapitated head
... fu#k yeah.

The main negative I found with the film was the design of Marius's shapeshifted form. He looked like a goofy hairy oaf. They should have gone back to the drawing board for that. Maybe they couldn't afford Patrick Tatopoulos or he wasn't available or something. Whatever the case it's a shame. And consequently the CG for his character looked pretty bad.

But other than that aside from some minor complaints I think the rest of it was pretty consistent with the rest of the films. The set pieces and scenery were very cool. Oh, and my other big negative was killing off

Spoiler:
Charles Dance
That sucks. But I liked that there wasn't anymore human involvement like in Awakening and it really felt a little more like the original.

I went sober, basically wanting to see Tywin and Edmure, because I'm a GoT fanboy.

It also had The Wall and an even better looking Daenerys! How could you be disappointed as a GoT fanboy!? 😂

Lena, played by Clementine Nicholson. Wow.

Maybe the series is better when you marathon it...

Yeah, I watched them all leading up and that helped majorly. Helped me familiarize myself with the story and characters again, so I followed Blood Wars quite well.

when someone puts a lol smilie or says lol, that should indicate someone is joking around...

I'm keeping an eye on the box office receipts for this and it's broken even (more or less) now, so it's probably in pretty good shape to start making a profit.

And the foreign receipts haven't updated in a while, so that's probably a bit more now.

It's not performing extremely well here in the States, but then again it also wasn't very expensive to make.

BoxOfficeMojo

Going to finally see this tonight.

Saw it. Far better than the last film.

I liked it more than the previous one also, for the most part.

My only real complaint on the film was the design of Marius's shapeshifted form. Looked bad.

But I think this Anna Foerster might be a pretty good director for this series. I don't think I'd mind seeing her do the next one or two. Here's to hoping.

I liked how he looked in the transformed Lycan form. He was cool but Viktor was and is still the best Underworld character to me.

I also loathe Selene and the end battle made me sick.
