Top 10 speed feats in Marvel

Started by Philosophía5 pages

Surfer has flown faster than that. Lightyears in short periods of times is small stuff, compared to blurring past galaxies.

Yeah, his board is so fast.

It's almost as fast as a GL ring.

Starhawk traveling at 3x speed of light.

Makkari reaching "absolute speed", which is a level where u r going so fast, the only thongs that can even interact with u, r other beings moving at absolute speed. As Fast Forward had to do, to bring Makkari back to normal.

Anyway, if people really want to categorize who is faster in terms of body movement, not flying - they should read Gruenwald's Quasar arc where most of the top speedsters compete.

Quicksilver has gotten faster since then, but still.

Gruenwald was a firm believer in nothing being faster than light though. It's a large reason why Quasar teleports.

Plus his random hard on for Mak for whatever reason. And the Star Brand (call of the Zop)

Abhi is very upset both marvel comics and the box office show it isn't even a healthy rivalry anymore. We even have big DC fans feeling embarrassed over their new rebirth story.

Yeah, but then again the contest was pretty strict [i.e. they actually have to run, not fly], so in a backwards sense, he differentiated it from soley flying [which can be FTL].

I don't think anybody in Marvel has actually ran faster than light. The closest that comes to mind is Quicksilver's one-off-feat recently [faster than Radio Waves], to which the writers directly admitted a mis-interpretation of what he meant, not that he was faster than light, but fast enough so that radio communication was not possible - and his other feats certainly back that up.

Do you remember anybody doing this?

Runner's first appearance had him running across galaxies over the course of like a day or some shit.

It's just because there's not a lot of runners in Marvel, so there's not a lot of examples to go off of.

Northstar came the closest running faster then light recently. It was HUGE

😂

Also Gruen didn't like anything traveling faster than light. That includes flight. It was probably at a period where he read about light and said "hot Moses, ain't nothing faster in my books!"

Quicksilver just ran around the planet in some seconds during a recent battle. He's most definitely up there.

😂

Spiderman vs Firelord, where SM kicked the former heralds ass

Monica and Makkari... Consistently the best in movement. I guess Northstar too. Not counting Runner of course.

If you count Northstar you have to count Aurora. Natch!

hmm

right. And In the issue where Makkari finally reaches "absolute speed", im pretty sure it is stated that Runner moves at that speed as his top.

It was also shown that it was the same for Fast Forward, aka "Buried Alien", aka Barry Allen.

And Absolute Speed is moving so fast, it would seem to be existing on a different level of being, unable to interact with the rest of the universe.

I dont have the books. Just trying to recall.
