People complaining about Mary Sues in SW are so hilarious. Luke Skywalker was an actual, literal Sue. Hamill deliberately played him as a Lucas author-insert and Lucas lapped it up.

Hamill stated in an interview that he was having trouble with a scene. Lucas kept asking him to redo it. So he tried to imagine how Lucas would act if he was doing it and did it that way. Naturally Lucas loved it. Which is when Hamill figured out exactly what Lucas' concept of Luke was.

But you see even with training he could not stand up to a Sith Lord. In fact he got his ass handed to him by a Sith who was holding back.

Rey on the other hand literally mind rapes a Sith 2 minutes after encountering mind rape for the first time. A force user that has been force trained for years by Luke Skywalker and subsequently Snoke.

Luke is a sue but he got nothing on Rey. **** she might be even worse than Anakin. Mr. I blow up space stations when I am 9 years old.

For the record I always disliked the Sues in SW.

Hey now, don't shoot the messenger mate lol. Just saw it when I goolged the movie to verify that it wasn't the Han movie.

Though if you're expecting Rey to just be a random person then you'll probably be disappointed. Disney is clearly milking the mysterious past and are gonna play it straight.

So if they make her parent either and or Luke or Leia and now that SW is a Disney product....that would pretty much confirm their death warrants? Cause history shows. Disney HATES parents.

Luke and Leia are dead by the end of this trilogy anyway, if they continue to follow the Star Wars trilogy formula. So far they've followed that formula with Han Solo.

Perhaps they will change it a little and leave one of them alive by the end. Perhaps.
