Just the idea of a roadblock pisses me off because..you don't know everyone. You don't know who has to do what that day. You don't know if they need to be somewhere, you don't know if that place they need to be is important or not. You do not know what is going on in their lives at the moment. So you have no right to try to disrupt shit by blocking a road.
You don't know me. I could be on my way to an important doctors appointment. I could be on my way to visit my sick and dying grandmother, I could have all sorts of shit going on. So don't try to f*ck with my life because you don't like a politician and especially don't try to act like you have any right to keep me from going to a certain place because you just don't like the people there. If you don't like the event then don't go to it.
I don't like Hilary, I don't want her to be president. I am not going to show this by going to a Hilary rally and acting like an *******. Which yep, is exactly what I'd be if I specifically went there just to be all "hey I think you're a piece of shit".
Behavior like this just tends to piss people off, so I really don't want to see anyone acting shocked if violence occurs because some people took it upon themselves to try to *physically prevent you from attending an event*. Now take what I just said and multiply it by about 1,000 if the people trying to block you show up in riot gear and ninja masks.
EDIT: Just to note I'm not saying this means Trump supporters have the right to violently assault you for no reason. No, they don't have that right either. You see neither side really has the right to f*ck with the other.

True, it is disruptive, perhaps too widely so.
So you have no right to try to disrupt shit by blocking a road.
Hey, point of order- BLM's main point is "We are being killed and harassed. Why are you letting your police, who you do have the ability to influence through your politicians, go along with that and get away with that?". And opposing people who are trying to stop things being done there. And, apparently, protesting other racism, like, well, some obvious examples.
Disruptive protests happen when major problems are being ignored. Is it perhaps too disruptive? Possibly. Is their own problem incredibly serious and yet ignored? Yes, yes it is. But they also have laid out a clear way to get them to stop, address the problems.
"The squeaky wheel gets the grease," and all that.

Mind you, I only know one presidential candidate who has actively talked about sending people to mess with other's rallies- Trump saying maybe he'd send people to Bernie's.
Hillary hasn't, Bernie hasn't, Kasich hasn't, Cruz hasn't. Everyone showing up at other's events has done so on their own with no encouragement from their respective candidates (if they have candidates- I think BLM has protested most everyone, they sent people after both Bernie and Hillary after all) save one.

Note the reason for the gear- Because people who protest Trump have been attacked and because Trump encourages it.

A fair enough argument. Still, it is with a fairly strong reason, and they aren't the ones threatening political parties or talking about sending people home in stretchers so they're still the better-acting of them.
These are still people with a real, sizable point that hasn't gotten away, who still get unfairly demonized (I remember you leaping on the 'that youtube commentator said they were going around threatening to rape people,' bandwagon too), who have concrete and addressible issues, who are not being violent over it. Even if they've gone too far, it's not by much, and "We're being murdered and these people want to turn a blind eye," is not exactly the worst justification in the world, you must admit.

Makes sense, blocking traffic is a bigger deal than doing it at an event itself, after all.
Protesting at political events is one of the traditional places *to* protest (rather than being the shutdown of democracy- the title and first post is still sensationalist, it's not like it's a polling place or anything having to do with the vote, it's a rally), but this does illustrate that it's better to do it at the event itself.

It's not the worst justification, but it actually still doesn't justify it at all. They also kill each other in record numbers, why do they not block roads to call attention to that?
You say they protest because they are harassed and killed. Can I ask you why they are harassed and killed? Do you feel it is 100% racism? Do you think no other factors come into play?
Also remember you nor I are the ones killing or harassing them, correct? We're talking about the cops really. So why not just try to protest the cops? As in, taking the protests *to* the cops, to the people who are actually doing this. The average citizen actually has no real control over what the cops do or how they behave. We also have no control over the policies they enforce and how they decide to train these people.
Since you only have so much time to edit a post I will add that yes I agree some Trump supporters crossed the line and got violent with people. However, they haven't killed anyone and I agree if people are being unjustly killed that is a problem, but then I would still say you then need to target the people doing that if you want to solve that problem. Which in this case the "people" doing it are law enforcement officials.
