You mean WB? Lol. Does that number include home video and promotional dollars? Nope, because it wasn't released during the date of the article. Profit doesn't just mean box office, brah.

If you doubt it, then provide the numbers.

I've already proven to you IM1 and IM2 sold better domestically, and that was back in 2008 and 2010! And they both had vastly smaller budgets than MOS.

If the DCEU has all this amazing goodwill like you claim, then JL should have no issue reaching Avenger numbers.

Like I said above, profit doesn't just include box office growth. There are other factors, too, like home video and promotional dollars.

Meh, I'm finally going to protect my sanity and ignore Zack. He's an idiot.

CPT is really bad at this. Guy can't even post a reliable number.

Batman v Superman, one of the most expensive films ever made, is on pace to produce a $278 million profit for Warner Bros. once home video, TV and merchandise proceeds are tallied, according to SNL Kagan analyst Wade Holden. That’s less than the estimated $300 million the studio earned from Man Of Steel.

He really needs help.

Next time do some better researching, CPT. 😂

Yeah but I'll have to find Home Entertainment sales for IM1 and IM2 which I'm sure were very good, but honestly don't think those numbers are needed to get my point across.

Edit: Like I said if the DCEU has really generated all this great goodwill then JL will have no issue reaching Avenger numbers. But I think we both know that's not happening.

I doubt IM 2 sold more or made more profit than MOS or BVS. In fact, BVS's sales are NEAR identical to Civil War. Are you telling me that IM 2 (A film which a lot of people thought was MEH) sold more than Civil War? 😂 Come on, Darth, you're not CPT dumb, are you?

Sigh, here are the numbers, Darth. I did it for you.

http://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Iron-Man-2#tab=video-sales

IM 2 didn't even come close to MOS numbers or BVS for that matter.

^ Read my edit.

BvS was also considered Meh by most.

Also don't forget BvS sold more on HE via an "extended better cut".

Also again 2008 and 2010! And again IM1 and IM2 sold better domestically than all 3 DCEU films so far. And that was with a former B lister. You keep ignoring all these points.

Darth Thor said IM 1 & 2 combined not just IM 2..... 😆

Golgo continues to fail to read.

Whether it's extended version or not, people still bought it AFTER seeing the theatrical version.

I'm done with this. I'm probably going to kill myself for all of these so called debates. You have one guy who's debating for Odin against Darkseid and he doesn't even read the books. And on the other side, you have one poster who doesn't know the definition of a flop. My hair is already falling out, I don't need anymore. 🙁

Why the hell would you combine them?

Both (individually) sold better at the domestic box office than any DCEU film so far, and on vastly smaller budgets than MOS and BvS.

We just think you're missing the big picture.

Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman together should Easily, Easily match/beat Avengers. If they don't then either DC has done something very wrong or Marvel has done something very right.

But Let's just give this a rest until November.

Just like why would you ignore worldwide box office in general.

Yes, I agree with you on that. But you're not getting the bigger picture. I'm not sure exactly how much profit they made through home video or promotional dollars, but the numbers I gave you were from BVS and MOS. Which killed it in the home video department. I'd like to see the numbers myself. IM or IM 2 could have crushed it in terms of profit, but I don't see the numbers.

We're taking in everything, so yes, even WW.
