I already stated that BVS should have hit a billion after the biggest debut for a super hero movie, world wide. It was projected to do a billion, after all.

However, I'm not in the boat where people say, "DCEU is doomed because BVS didn't hit a billion." DCEU future looks bright with some of the talent they're bringing in.

Wan, Matt Reeves, Joss Whedon, Mathew Vaughn (Potentially), and Doug Liman.

Well for the record I think MOS did very well on HE, but IM1 was from 2008 and without Disney backing at the time. And of course he was a B lister.

BvS on the other hand was a big DC Event film featuring their holy trinity. It should not be compared to IM2. But the fact that IM2 sold better domestically says a lot for Marvel.

Yes those all sound really exciting. I never said the DCEU is doomed, and I'm glad WB are attempting to course correct. Even firefly was excited over those, and he's hated all the DCEU films so far.

I stated that before a while ago. My initial prediction was less than a billion, BUT after it's debut, world wide, there should have been no excuse to do at least 1.1 billion. I said it had shitty legs many times.

That's hard to say. We're talking about these Huge names "Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Joker, Harley Quinn", and promising better extended cuts on HE.

I think MOS was the best film in the DCEU so far. And I think Ben Affleck's Batman is entertaining. If Wonder Woman is good, then yeah there will suddenly be a lot of decent goodwill there coming from the Big 3. I think Aquaman next year will also be good, which will help even more.

I've just not got confidence in JL itself because of Snyder and apparently Affleck wanting out now. But it will no doubt make a lot of money, especially if WW is good.

I actually prefer SS over MOS. It's close.

I've watched MoS at least fives times. i have no desire to watch SS ever again.

I thought the pacing was better in SS. MOS is kind of clunky at times.

BVS just had some decent Batman Action scenes to liven it up. MOS was just nothing but Emo SJW Man Action.

Even as cool as Batman looked in a few scenes, I enjoyed the Kyrptonian action in MoS more, but to each their own. Even the fighting with Doomsday was a step down from Supes vs Zod for me, though that wouldn't of been the case if DD was done right and timed better.

MoS has its issues, but it's a better adaptation and a better movie in general than SS, imo. By at least a fair bit too.

the flash film is in developmental hell and if indeed justice league as well as wonder woman don;t make the money wb wants combined with the fact that affleck leaves, then they wil no doubt reboot and what beter way to do thst is do flashpoint, heck the tv show already did it and will prolly do it again so no reaosn for me to believe otherwise..

I do think things are salvageable, but only if they do things a certain way.

I think nothing in the DCEU so far beats Kal vs Faora & Nam-Ek. Plus Kal learning to fly was cool. So yeah I definitely think the first chapter was the best, but it needed to be improved on, and instead things got worse.
