No it ****ing didn't.

You want to argue the other stuff? Fine, but no way can you seriously argue THAT.

I did. Even john ostrander said as much. I didn't say all the characters, but most of them follow the current model.

what fcking movie did you watch.

The same one you did. Enchantress has had stories of her going rogue before. Probably why she was picked to be the villain.

Even as polarized as people were with Michael Shannon's Zod like MoS itself, I can't see how Enchantress was a better villain than him.

At least MOS/Zod has some actual Character. S-Squad Enchantress was just a muddy covered belly dancer. That was it.

Never said enchantress was better than Zod. That's the only thing MOS has going for it, imo.

Nah Faora was the best thing about MOS and by far the coolest villain to date in the DCEU.

You say that like it means anything.

You mean the current model that DC is steadily erasing? Even if that were true (and it really isn't), it would be a negative, not a positive like it is with MoS.

I just mean that the movie followed the characters pretty closely from the stories I have read for the past several years. El Diablo, Harley, Waller (Even Ostrander stated she followed the character to perfection), Croc, etc...

But, agree to disagree. Nether of us will change each others opinion.

I can agree with that. 👆

Some of the characters like Waller I won't deny were pretty spot on, but some of the others were more of a miss for us.

Faora was very cool, but a minor character who I felt they kinda wasted in the end, but a good death is its own reward, blahblah, so whatever.

I'd say Joker and Deadshot were some of the only ones that were somewhat off, BUT as John Ostrander mentioned in his review, there is MORE than one way that Deadshot has been portrayed in comics:

Let’s look at Will Smith as Deadshot. Some folks have objected that he’s not my Deadshot. No, he isn’t and that’s just fine by me. My Deadshot was not the character as he had been created or portrayed prior to my appropriating him for the Squad. Gail Simone’s version was not exactly my version either. You don’t expect two actors who play the same character in different versions to be identical so why expect those versions in different stories to be identical? Smith did a great job – intense, cynical, with a weak spot for his daughter (although I thought their last scene together had a disturbing element). Smith is a fine actor and one of the world’s biggest stars; he sure as hell wasn’t slumming here and he made Deadshot his own – which is exactly what he was supposed to do.

Katana
Rick Flag
Harley
Croc
Captain Boomerang

All spot on, IMO.

Joker was a hot mess

Deadshot was okay to decent at times, didn't dislike him, but can't say I cared too much by the end of the film

Katana was very stupid and seemed little more than an afterthought filler

Flag was okay

Harley was good/great and by far the best thing out of SS
Croc was shit

Capt. B was okay for comic relief, but overall throwaway

Diablo was stupid

Waller was good/great

Funny how the Women were the only ones given any kind of actual character development in the Action Movie...Wasn't it.

Honestly she was the great surprise of that film for me. And her fight against Kal was the best one IMO.

Zod was kinda meh to me personally, as was the whole final Kal vs Zod.

Was kinda the other way around for me, but can see why others would feel that way about it. I just thought Faora got killed a little too early in the film, and should've been saved for the climax with Zod while the other kryptonians still died or something, like how her predecessor had pretty much the same amount of screen time as Zod in Superman II.

Getting off topic, homies. Here is some concept art that was released today:

Waller is the only one I can agree with, tbh.

Harley, even if she was based on the current, shitty version, is still shitty, and by extension hurt the Joker. So saying she followed the comic version isn't exactly helping the "it was better than MoS" argument.

Current Shitty version? Amanda's/Palmiotti Harley monthly is actually good.
