Well, duh. I just think it's funny you keep bringing it up. Go to the JL thread and complain over there. This is the WW thread.

This coming from the same guy who brings up in a Guardians of the Galaxy 2 thread that it won't make as much as Suicide Squad?

Wonder Woman's good reception just proves that I (and others) were always right about how DC should concentrate on solo films for their main characters first, and then in that process work out how the event film will best work. Instead of just rushing into Event films first and Solo films later as sort of spin off's.

No harm at all bringing that up here given WW is part of a larger shared cinematic universe. No need to get all peed off about it and then brag how the poorly received Suicide Squad made more money than the superbly well received Guardians.

WW doesn't have a fresh score on RT yet. And JL hasn't come out yet. Remember, Geoff Johns has worked close with Snyder and crew.

We were also told he was heavily involved with Green Lantern, and look how that turned out.

JL so far, imo, has done very little to instil any confidence. A new trailer could fix that.

Hmm Johns imprint is apparently on Wonder Woman though, she there's hope for the future of the DCEU.

I thought Johns involvement in GL was a myth. I know he helped with some stuff, but not heavily. I think it was the studio they phucked things up.

If Johns had been heavily involved in DC movies, they'd be better than they've been so far. I do hope he's had proper influence in WW, as that would only make the movie better.

If this movie makes money I hope that Johns is in charge of the Lobo movie.

I feel like I should understand what you mean by that, but I'm at a loss. Not necessarily your fault, though. It is late for me.

Let's hope they're right.

that's how Steve has been treated in comics for the better part of a decade... non-important.

🚨DCEU UPDATE🚨

Positive early reactions on WONDER WOMAN worked because 1st choice numbers have gone up according to the latest tracking! RT!

I can see this breaking out.

I see Dr. Strange type numbers.

Which is good.

It's a ram packed blockbuster summer. So who knows. But yeah I think it should comfortably hit Dr. Strange numbers (if it's good).

It will help that it's released early June. By July there will be way too many blockbusters, and audiences only go to the cinema a couple of times a year. And seems like they've already done that with Furious 8 and Beauty &a the Beast. They will probably won't go back in droves now until Star Wars.

Alien Covenant will be the first to feel the ram packed summer. It's screwed.

I think it'll do over Dr. Strange. It's already past it's numbers in pre sales.

Source?

I posted that a week ago. I got it from Boxofficetheory.

Not hard to predict since in the general audience eyes, Dr Strange is a D lister while Wonder Woman is one of DC's A listers.

Yea but Strange has the Marvel brand son.
