Looks like the story itself was mostly Snyder, but the script was her and Johns. Makes sense.

Hah! Warner executive incompetence benefits someone for a change.

They pretty much have to being her onboard now. Jenkin's is gonna make soo much money. (And then maybe she can go work for the MCU once the executives meddle the shit out of the sequel with their focus groups and seven different cuts cobbled together..)

Don't worry it wasn't your worst prediction of the year. That honour still belongs to your Spider-Man prediction.

Mummy will break records next weekend. The only reason it made less than I thought is because of WW.

lol how's it going to suddenly break records in its second weekend?

Wonder Woman will still be around.

Its the universal monster stamp. Everyone knows the Mummy. Many factors this week as to why it didn't break 100 million. NBA finals and the success of WW. WW will enter its 3rd weekend and dip even more. Mummy 85 million for next weekend. Book it.

Domestic?

Are you just trolling, or have you finally gone insane?

The NBA finals didn't slow down Wonder Woman. And when was the last time a movie scored more than twice on it's second weekend than it did on it's first?

Between this and your Spider-Man Homecoming insanity, there's no longer any logic at all to your predictions, so I'm convinced you're just purposefully trolling.

Don't underestimate Tom Cruise.

What other movies do you like and dislike my son? I'm trying to discern whether or not you have bad taste. This film's solid reception has me cautiously optimistic that it will be good, but people gave The Force Awakens a good reception as well and that movie ****ing blows cock. So I want to see how your taste aligns with my own.

Not to speak for him but to give my own input, I had my gripes with The Force Awakens like anybody else, but found almost nothing to hate about WW as I did with the previous DC films (just got back from it), which I guess showed that someone other than Synder was behind the script after all... Man of Steel I only liked as far as the action mind you (compared to BvS and SS that left me with almost nothing), but unlike Synder's Superman who was forced to brood because of some badly written deaths, I felt a glimmer of hope from this Diana as a hero that I didn't from Cavillman or anyone. Ares was alright too, though could've been better cast as pointed out, but he was okay. The hate for him and some things is due to everything DC being held to a ridiculously higher standard than Mahvel.

But yeah, solid film this is.

Hero from another world inspires mankind and nobley saves lives.

This is the Superman movie we've been waiting for 😉

is it wrong for me to already have seen this 3 times

Yes, it is. To make up for it. Buy me a ticket and send it to
me....And be sure to include the large Soda Pop and Extra Buttery Bucket of Popcorn.

Just got back from watching this and I gotta say, it was about average. I had read and heard so many good things about this movie, I was probably expecting too much. It was definitely underwhelming and the visuals weren't as good as other movies have shown they can be. Just my opinion.

Holy crap. WW is having similar legs to Deadpool.

Warner Bros./DC’s Wonder Woman continues to be the popular ticket with her second Saturday of $23.8M +51% over Friday. This now puts the Patty Jenkins-directed movie on track for a second weekend of $57.2M, which by the way is more than what Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad both made in their second weekends (respectively $51.3M and $43.5M), and both of those titles boasted bigger openings ($166M, $133.6M) than Wonder Woman ($103.2M).

In contrast to smallest drop in second weekend:

Smallest drop on second weekend for Live-action comic book movies
Spider-Man - 37.8%
Batman Begins - 43.4%(opened on WED)
The Amazing Spider-Man - 44.2%(opened on TUE)
If WW pulls of a 57 mil it will have 38% fall from true weekend(-previews) similar to Spider-Man.
If we multiple the true weekend with a Spider-Man multiplier of 3.5, comes to 323 mil total run.

Impressive and throws out all your excuses for the dreadful 2nd weekend drops BvS and SS had.

Considering it sucked, yes, it is.

will someone please pay attention to Stilt. he really wants us to know that he thinks about the movie.

Can't we just point and make fun of him with out paying attention to him? Like we always do.

SS had a good run overall, though.

Speaking of Wonder Woman's legs (no pun intended):

If WB was smart enough to swallow their pride to bring Geoff Johns aboard, they'll be smart enough to let Jenkins make a movie.

It wasn't too long ago they were as afraid to make a Batman reboot (after Schumacher) as they were to make a Wonder Woman movie.
