Jon might not smash at all. Ser Jorah Cockblock is on his way to Dragonstone and since he's House Mormont and can vouch for Dany he might be useful in trying to smooth things out with the rest of the North. I also think Bran is going to tell Jon that Dany's his Aunt before he gets a chance to hit that. Jon was raised as a Stark so incest is likely out the question in his book.
Bran likely won't give a shit about frivolous things like incest in the context of knowing what's at stake in the grander scheme of things.

speaking of Bran, the Stark reunion was kind of a letdown due to him losing his personality to the Raven.

Spoiler:
died last season. The Arya you see now is Jaqen H'ghar
i never thought that until the scene where her wolf seemed to not recognize her. That gave me some suspicion that she may not be Arya.

Interesting indeed.

Aslo could be that Nymeria has her own life now and she cant just leave the big pack she commands just to be at Aryas side. And the fact Arya scared her away as a pup by throwing rocks at her and yelling.

What I meant is that Jon, being raised a Stark, would not be cool with incest if he found out from Bran that Dany was his Aunt before he hit it, not that Bran himself would be trying to stop the act. Dany is Jon's Dad's sister. Jon might be a Targaryen by blood but he's Ned Stark's son when it comes to his ethics, and Ned didn't think highly of incest or adultery so I'm sure neither do his children. Westeros has a lot of taboos. It's why Jaime and Cersei can't be open with their relationship.

if nymeria didnt recognize her, arya would be wolf shit right about now.

i get what you mean, and i agree. I was suggesting that Bran WOULDNT tell Jon at all if he thinks a union between Jon and Dany would save the world.

and Cersei is very open about her relationship now that she's Queen. She let that one servant girl see them in bed on some no fcks given ish.

for sure.

and, when Arya said "that's not you", she likely meant that, much like herself, Nymeria isn't the same wolf she once knew.

the entire episode, all i was saying was "no. not Bronn. Don't kill Bron."

Same and to a lesser extent Jamie. Was almost certain he was going to be tinder when he charged Danny.

Well, Bran's a little off right now with his new Dr. Manhattan-esque perception of time. He recalled the night of Sansa's rape to her and didn't have the forethought to consider that it might be traumatic for her. I wouldn't be surprised if Bran just plainly tells him that his father is Rhaegar Targaryen and his mother is Lyanna Stark. He likely wouldn't even mention Dany in the info dump.

On the Cersei thing:

That servant girl also changed her hair to match Cersei's short hairstyle and is dressing like Cersei Jr. She's house broken. I wouldn't be surprised if in a future episode Jaime walks in to talk to Cersei and catches Cersei having that servant girl eating her out and tells Jaime to join them. Cersei's really feeling herself right now.

It's Cersei on the highest power trip high she's ever been on being queen and having had two huge victories, so she'll likely have servant wench eat out her ass.

But after last nights ep and how the Lannister army was utterly defeated, she'll be brought down a rung or two I would expect

Well, that also depends on what happens with the Golden Company since Jaime and Co. were able to magically teleport all the gold to King's Landing so Cersei can pay the Iron Bank and hire mercs. Wonder if Daario and the Second Sons will factor in somehow being rival Sellswords?

point taken.

question: did Dany burn up the food and supplies or was that a different convoy than the gold?

Supplies. She did both. She unleashed the dragon but spared kings landing while basically allow the blocade to continue. Kinda impressive

Didn't Randal Tarly say the gold made it to King's Landing?

Yes

Hooray for teleporting gold and stuff. Also I wonder how the Lannister's would have faired against the horde had a dragon not showed up.

So with this episode wouldn't Cersei, Dany, and Jon now be on even ground?

With Brann now in Winterfell doesn't this mean the Night King can get past the wall unhindered?

So this means Cersei has allies in Euron Greyjoy and the Iron Bank, which isn't nothing.

Does Dany still have the Dornish support? Because she already lost the Tyrells, she lost the entire Iron fleet and the unsullied are trapped on Casterly Rock.

At the moment it seems that all she has are the dothraki and her dragons, so unless Jon Snow comes through she doesn't have an easy route to victory.

So when did Arya Stark develop freakish strength in her left arm, enough to block two-handed blows from Brienne with a longsword using just her wrist? I must have missed that episode.

no1curr

I wish Nephthys was still here. I'd point out how Daenerys takes obvious sadistic glee in incinerating human beings with her dragons, glorifying in her own power, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any Daenerys fans left here.

Also, holy shit people are teleporting around the continent rapidly this season. Euron Greyjoy in particular has an uncanny ability to be exactly where he needs to be at exactly the right time. How convenient. mmm

They haven't done a great job showing the passage of time, but it's pretty clear that time is being skipped... probably due to the short season and needing to wrap things up.

you really think Jorah was healed in one day? no, they just skipped the time in between.

you people complain when things are going too slow, and when things are moving along at a high pace.

Considering that the maester literally said that he would let Jorah stay only one day at the Citadel (as opposed to sending him to live with the Stone Men immediately), yeah actually, I do. 👆
