Benjen came out of nowhere. lol.
a dragon dying was predictable, but the way the dragons arrived was very formulaic action movie-esque.
why not have Dany decide to go on her own? That would have bypassed the time conflict with Gendry and the Raven, and also made it less predictable when she shows up at the last minute to save them.
Starting to wonder if that's the case.
So, the Witch King is pretty much trumping dragons, it seems. All they had was three, and they lost one third in a flash.. Not good.
Was looking up the wiki on The Others.. Didn't the three eyed raven's people claim their civilization created them, as bio weapons? Nothing about that on the wiki's, is that even in the books?
This whole season has been paced way too high. I don't really understand why they decided to cut episodes this season when it feels like the amount of events is higher than in past seasons. If anything this season should have been longer, or at least stayed the same as seasons past.
This episode was just emblematic of the season's problems as a whole. Tried to pack way too much into it to the point that it started to impact the narrative sense of everything that was happening.
This episode wasn't very good, and despite some very fun and memorable episodes, this season has fallen in quality quite a bit.
Thought the talky bits were genius, and the action was good.
But it did seem a bit rushed.
With a finale and only one season to go (Why they cut eps, we may never know), it looks like they're trying to pick up the pace. So yeah, that will affect quality a bit.. It's still good imo, nowhere near the depths of Dragon Ball Super.
