Game of Thrones

They cut the episodes because they wanted to spend the money on CGI, for battles, dragons, ice zombies , etc.

The Hound being the Hound was awesome, most of the banter was good, made the ep. Fighting was good, though we've already had zombie swarms. Dragon's blasting fire was cool, but we've also just had that too. Not even complaining about the teleporting anymore, I understand it's a show and scenes need to be fit in.

Jon being saved by Uncle B's miracles return was outright ridiculous, that was just awful writing; like fanfic levels on writing.

Should have had the zombie giants pulling the dragon out the frozen lake, would have been a better scene, showing the strength the Walkers are amassing. Even if they have one serious weak point shown with them dying and it affecting their troops.

after you already spent 6 seasons slowly shuffling toward the wall.

Takara Headmasters level writing right there.

Optimus spends three episodes navigating maze to Vector Sigma. Rodimus arrives from base to rescue five minutes later.

So get this, in this episode we learn that the Night King is so swole he can throw a spear with enough force to kill a dragon in one hit.

Yet for the majority of the episode, in a span of time that was at least a day (it should be much longer, but we should all accept that the entire cast sans the White Walkers can teleport across the continent at will, and the idea of Jon and friends surviving weeks in the frozen North without dying of frostbite like Thoros did is retarded), he, his Walkers, and his Wights just stood around staring at people he knows for a fact know of the threat he possesses, and more importantly know how to kill him and other White Walkers, with Jon having personally killed two.

Laughably terrible episode. 👆

not to mention the NK could have just made the lake freeze over again. but i guess they needed to gimp his basic powers in order to reveal his ability to nullify physics.

Thoros likely died of a combo of his wounds and the cold.

I think they there only out on the frozen lake less than a day. Gendry ran like Usain Bolt, the raven flew at mach 10 as did the dragons. As I said, just have to look past the teleporting, it's really nothing new.

IMO, the truly unforgivable part was Jon's rescue, that was fanfic levels of writing. They should have just had him get on the dragon or die, would have been better than the perfectly timed Uncle B's miraculous save.

pretty sure meera and bran's combined weight was more than jon's, so there was no reason they couldn't have rode together.
tired of watching people needlessly killed off by shitty writing

Yep. It was terrible. Just unnecessary drama, especially since we all knew he would survive anyway.

Nah, there was enough time for night to come and go, and some more time beyond that. We're talking a minimum of 18 hours IMO.

But the Night's King was apparently helpless to kill Jon and friends this whole time, and chose to stand around staring at them instead.

And yeah, Benjen's rescue of Jon was dumb. Bad episode. Bad season. 👆

I mean, it's convenient and trite, but let's be honest...what else would he be doing?

He was likely tracking the zombie horde's march.

It's been heavily implied the Night King can see things and has powers like Bran.(book nerds can probably verify this).
I don't know how I'm the only one that got that the Night King needed something to get through the wall.
He he probably knew about Dany and Her Dragons. It all seems like his plan and a trap to lure the dragons into the battlefield so he can kill one and then have something to get through the wall.

Yea, I can't remember if it was ever said in the show, but in the books magic was weaved into the wall to keep them from breaking through.

The largest and most powerful dragon in history couldn't destroy a less impressive structure than the Wall (Harrenhall) with its fire breath, so if that is indeed why the Night King sat on his balls for a full day, it would still be bad and inconsistent writing my man.

Furthermore, implied when? For a guy who has virtual omniscience like Bran does now, this guy sure does get taken unawares pretty often. In just this last episode a squad of Wights and one of his Walkers was ambushed right under his nose, with one of the Wights captured and the Walker killed. He also seemed to have no idea Benjen has been apparently tailing his army.

Oh, and book nerds can't verify this because the Night King does not exist in the books. You're going through some mental gymnastics to justify the Night King's silliness my friend.

The Ice Dragon will have magical ice/fire breath 🙂 👆

Its been implied by various scenes in the show. When the NK touches Bran inside Bran''s own vision/warging. When th NK can sense where Bran is looking at him , The NK throwing magical ice spears that can pierce dragon skin, can turn babies to White Walkers with a touch, can raise the dead with putting his hands up, etc.
Im not saying he has the same abilities as Bran, im saying he has at least some and may know about Dany and her dragons.
And im pretty sure that the Zombie dragon will have a part in the army of the dead getting through the wall.

Why? Other wights have no supernatural abilities save being corpses (meaning they can take more punishment than a living warrior), no enhanced abilities that the dead person didn't have in life, why would a dragon be different? Frankly, it shouldn't even be able to breathe fire/ice anymore, considering the Night King literally caused its fire gland to explode. 👇

It is a huge leap to go from "The Night King can perceive greenseers when they are astral projecting" to "The Night King either used his own greenseer powers to see Daenerys or is reading Jon's mind or some shit". There is nothing supporting what you're saying. 👇

You misunderstand me. I'm not really disputing what you're saying.

Only enlightening you to the fact that if indeed it does, it will still be bad writing. 🙂

Sure 👆

........................

Also im afraid they will end the series in a predictable ass fuq way in season 8 with Jon and Dany both dying and the NK defeated, and the rest of the survivors rebuilding a better world. YYAAAWWNN. 👇

Is it a wight? Or a "Other"?

Zombies typically don't have the blue eyes either, that's a trait of White Walkers. And I believe the infants weren't turned into wights, but "Others".

viserion clearly has white walker eyes and not zombie eyes.
