I pointed out this time and time again . TDK did sell more tickets. Avengers comes close as does Spider-Man 2.
Adjusted for inflation Avengers still made more money easily. Ticket sales aren't everything. Either way, that doesn't matter one iota as again we're comparing Cap's trilogy to Baleman's.

Idk what anyone is talking about in here, but I'd say Cap trilogy is the best.
And I'll say Cap movies have more rewatchability than Batman's.
Completely agree

Well some people want to ignore that.

Btw Spider-Man 1 made more than Spider-Man 2.

Heath Joker is a better villain than anyone in the MCU.

Think Loki's equally as good personally.

Domestically it's pretty close. Avengers made 659 million, while TDK made 638. And TDK wasn't released in 3-D.

You really are an idiot. Again, The Dark Knight DIDN'T Win an academy award. HEATH LEDGER did, and it ONLY happened because it was a pity Oscar. They felt bad that he died and there was so much hype it was the only thing to do. Ledger was great, no doubt about it. Was he Oscar worthy? Not really. He played the joker; and honestly some of his dialogue was beyond ridiculous.
people voting in the AMC tournament do not represent the GA Golgo. Nice try. That's an INCREDIBLY small sample size. The Dark Knight isn't even the best movie in it's own trilogy. Also, Avengers DESTROYED TDK at the box office. Not sure why that matters, as this is about The Cap Trilogy vs TDK trilogy.

Well, yeah, but look at other sites like IMDB, where the ratings are better than all of Marvels movies.

It was released in imax though.

IMDB reviews are garbage. People start voting before the movie is released and Even though they haven't seen the movie yet.

I think you mean 538 for TDK.

I always wondered if Heath Ledger would of won the award if he hadn't died? I do think he gave an oscar worthy performance, but I still wonder nonetheless.

I'm sure it influenced the decision making process, but I doubt they'd just give the award to anyone who died.

I know that, I know he'd of been a definite contender even if alive, I'm just not sure if it was his death that pushed him over the edge or if he would of gotten it either way.

He's is adjusting for inflation.

Didn't know you were an insider in the Academy back then.

Well that's something we'll never know.

Oh wait, ask CPT. He knows 😂

Yah, Civil War had like 2,500 butthurt DC fanboys giving it a 1 when the movie had only been screened to press members. IMDB is shit and I'll never use them for reviews again.

Im sure TDK got a ton of 10's after ledger died too. BvS had a super high score even before pre-screenings.

I'm sure Civil War had a ton of 10s before the film came out as well. It's not a one way street and fanboys are going to fanboy.

True. Thats why IMDB ratings are pretty meaningless.

Im surprised TDK held up so well over the years. Still in the top 5.
