Does Deadpool care about being taken seriously? No. Thats exactly how Spider-man always was. He doesnt care who he annoys as long as the job gets done. Then again based on omd onwards they clearly have something against the character.

Deadpool is a caricature. Parker jokes around but he does want respect.
