Well, er, I mean, he said he could.
Brakiss actually did manipulate star fire.
Closing his eyes, the Master of the Shadow Academy began to move his hands. Zekk watched through the observation port, his green eyes widening. The ocean of rarefied incandescent gases between the dying stars started to swirl like arms of fire... writhing, changing shape, dancing in time with the hand motions Brakiss made. The dark teacher was manipulating the starfire itself!
He whispered to Zekk without opening his eyes, without observing the effect of his work. "The Force is in all things," Brakiss said, "from the smallest pebble to the largest star. This is just a glimmer of how Naga Sadow reached out to the stars and delivered a mortal wound five thousand years ago. "

Wasn't it stated that Naga Sadow's power was amplified hundreds or thousands of times in the meditation sphere? So, yeah, obviously Revan has better feats scaling it back down to reality. 😬
That would matter, if Sadow was in his meditation sphere for that feat - which he wasn't. He was on the Corsair. And before somebody points to the weapon that Aleema Keto used to rip the core from a star later: All weapon-systems were disabled which was the reason for Sadow to pull that feat off in the first place.
But since there are three different interpretations of the event in the comics themselves ("Fall of the Sith Empire", "Dark Lords of the Sith", "The Sith War"😉, you may want to argue which of them is accurate.
If it did even happen at all and isn't just some legend told within the ranks of the Jedi Order.

Only two or three years after infiltrating the Praxeum as an Inquisitor, where he and every other student was almost choked to death by Exar Kun.I mean, thanks.
Ok? So?
I was just merely pointing out he did it, don't really much care for when, seeing as it was in question.
