Arcann got some more stuff, some good arguments were made for some of the ancient Sith and new feats were brought to light and expanded upon for them, the Kotor II crew have had their stock raised considerably. Good times.

Honestly, Vakorion. He influenced quite a lot in his time, as did Sidious. But Sidious most long-lasting achievement was the defeat of the Jedi Order; something Valk almost succeeded in (had it not been for Revan's interference causing the Treaty of Coruscant) and built two entire Empires from pretty much scratch.

There's no way Valkorion achieved better. He failed to take down the Galactic Republic and he had oh-so-much more time than Palpatine to do what he wanted.

Zakuul beat the Republic and the Empire at the same time. Valkorion ruled an empire for 1300 years, Sidious only got 20.

I don't think Valkorion had intention to rule the galaxy at any point, just destroy it. And I'm not sure how ruling the galaxy for just under 20 years is better than ruling any Empire you're a part of for 1,300.

Valkorion does want to rule the galaxy, just in an omnipotent way, like Sheev.

Sheev ruled an infinitely vaster Empire that was founded on more than just forgotten worlds in the Unknown Regions.
