Agreed, I had no idea, Surtur was so angry
I've put him on ignore, first time ever, someone has to take the higher ground and I don't want the forums to melt down.

Lol you don't have any high ground here kiddo. Nobody is angry. Do better.

I'm also going to stay off the forums a week and give him a chance to control his emotions. It all seems disproportionately important to him, like it's all he has in life.

See ya snowflake.

I was being sarcastic, but still, if she'd been like that outside of the first half-hour or so of CM, I would have liked her more.

She seemed to get worse as the movie went on.

At least she has a wonderful personality...

BWHAHAHAHA

455 million for CM this weekend. 6th highest opening WW ever.

The power of the MCU brand.

I wonder how many times Samuel L Jackson said "motherf*cker" upon first reading the part about his eye.

So Tim Pool saw the movie and has reviewed the film, he didn't like it. Trigger warning:

I saw Captain Marvel, Its AWFUL, Plot Holes, BAD Writing...

YouTube video

For those curious: Tim is no right winger nor Trumper or anything like that. And when it comes to the people who did not like this movie he is not part of the tiny tiny tiny minority of those people who disliked it cuz Brie has lady parts.

I'm about to go see CM right now. Will let you all know what I think when I get back.

Honestly this review sorted out my weirdly conflicted feelings on this movie:
YouTube video

The supporting cast was good, the premise was good, the effects were good, and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel even had some great chemistry with the other characters.

But it seemed like her character wasn't really consistently defined. She goes from being sarcastic and witty one second to being stoic the next, with this recurring sentiment from the Kree that she's a super fiery emotional person, and something about that just didn't leave a strong impression of who she is as a character.

"Mediocre at best. It is a typical Mary-Sue type superhero action movie, with a main character that is 1-dimensional, posses no clear motives, drives, ambitions, fear, allegiences, etc. In short, in point in the movie do you feel any connection with the main character. You expect in a hero moveie, for the hero to be battling an inner demon, to be fighting an inner struggle that is mirrored in a battle with some super villain. Think back to any great superhero movie. There is a climactic journey to fight some big baddie that goes hand in hand with an inner struggle of the hero coming to grips with their shortcomings, weakness, faults, past, etc.

Captain Marvel lack all of the above, just a character that hits stuff and people, sometimes in a visually exciting fashion. If i knew how bad it was, I would have given it a miss "

Ok?

Whoever said that is clearly the typical DC butthurt fan, who is upset by the fact that CM shitstomps most of the DC movies. What a joke.

Clearly your butthurt about the review Josh

I found this one to be very objective.

Hell as sure it triggered me! The movie isn't a marvel for sure, but it ain't that bad either. There have been worse Marvel movies, except people didn't make the amount of drama they are making right now.

That review is BS. The movie is definitely worth watching.
