They do not. MCU rapes at the box office. It is just a fact.

Us the horror film moved a week back to get out of the way from CM.

Yea they do, DC cant compare but I wish we could leave politics out of films since its infected everything else. The movies are supposed to be an escape from social justice and believe in fiction presented.

Remember DC changed BvS release date of release because of civil war, that’s a better example of dominance on marvels part I’d say

Warner even admitted they cannot compete with them.

Even Star Wars cannot stand up alongside MCU. Nothing can.

Well technically adjusted for inflation Marvel doesnt have any in top 25 I dont think. Stars Wars has Number 2 and a couple in top 25.. Just raw numbers MCU isnt 1st either.

Well Star Wars is also Disney so as long as one is doing better than the other they don’t mind they still make money

As a brand they are numero uno, friend. They also do not adjust for inflation. Collectively MCU is king by a country mile. You add the money made collectively not just a film. Talking brands here. Try to keep up. Solo flopped hard, sport.

Agreed but after 20 some films MCU is still knocking out the competition. Even cm just decimated the competition despite the basement dwellers triggered by Brie Larson.

Honestly this review sorted out my weirdly conflicted feelings on this movie:
YouTube video

The supporting cast was good, the premise was good, the effects were good, and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel even had some great chemistry with the other characters.

But it seemed like her character wasn't really consistently defined. She goes from being sarcastic and witty one second to being stoic the next, with this recurring sentiment from the Kree that she's a super fiery emotional person, and something about that just didn't leave a strong impression of who she is as a character.

That's pretty spot on. Perhaps she played it better than anyone realises because she has amnesia and her personality is fighting itself between the pre-explosion Carol Danvers and the Kree warrior who is in control of their emotions that Yon-Rogg is trying to make her.

So Tim Pool saw the movie and has reviewed the film, he didn't like it. Trigger warning:

I saw Captain Marvel, Its AWFUL, Plot Holes, BAD Writing...

YouTube video

For those curious: Tim is no right winger nor Trumper or anything like that. And when it comes to the people who did not like this movie he is not part of the tiny tiny tiny minority of those people who disliked it cuz Brie has lady parts.

I look forward to reading your opinion on the movie now that you've been told what it is. 👍

I liked it. It made money. All the negativity and sh*t-talking is all a waste, so F**K the trolls. #Lastlaugh.
