Still glad to see Brainiac will be a big deal at least, and if it gets Regime Superman back on the path of being a hero as somewhat indicated, then great.
Darkseid's super definitely looks better than I thought, though my reluctance on getting this day 1 remains the same. That recent MvC I trailer man...

Shame they didn't get back Michael Ironside as Darkseid, but wasn't really expecting it by this point; he's gotten pretty old and not sure how active he is anymore. The Inj 2 voice isn't bad either though.

I know we all saw this coming, but I could or might argue that this was a wasted character slot. 😐 I know how much a staple the Joker typically is, but so ****ing sick of Batman content by this point.
At least the comments on Joker's inclusion have plenty of disdain for it. It's ironically gratifying to see the Joker hate or fatigue become mainstream. People are just so sick of the guy and contrary to what WB thinks, you can have too much of a good thing.
At least the story isn't about him but rather Brainiac, though you know he'll steal the show/spotlight in some way. I mean you could hope he's not in the single player campaign but a bonus multiplayer character, but you know he'll generically be in it as a result of some asspull.
To make matters worse, he could be the reason for Harley's regression in being bad again, when in the first Injustice, most of her character arc was getting over the attention stealing ****er.
And yeah, it's a safe bet that at least one of the DLC's will be a Batman character. Just hope it's someone more interesting to play as than Batgirl.
Surprisingly I don't really mind Damian, but since we're gonna get Jason Todd in some form on top of that, it'll be redundant.
And true, Joker himself in this doesn't necessarily ruin the Injustice universe with the kind of mess it already is, but doesn't mean we can't call bullshit on the Joker immunity trope when it's done so ****ing much.

Huh... So going from the trophy/achievement list for this game, there's one for doing all alternate paths in story mode (interesting, so I guess it has some variation), a number of portal events (whatever those are), and joining a guild (which I'm guessing is like the factions in MKX), though overall it looks pretty easy to complete, especially compared to 100%ing the first Inj, as there's no S.T.A.R. Labs or something crazy like that; just grinding with character & player leveling and unlocking armor stuff over time, so pretty chill.
