They should. But can they?
I extend the challenge to any yellow bellied supporter of the cripple. One on one judged debate upon the completion of the trilogy. I doubt anyone will accept as per the norm.

Or maybe this movie ends up as a passing of the torch type. Makes me wonder if Luke Skywalker will die but pass his knowledge of being a Jedi to Rey. This would make Rey the last Jedi if it happens that way.
Could be, but I could see Rey rejecting Skywalker and doing her own thing. That would certainly make Luke the last Jedi, and would end the line lf Jedi forever if he dies..
So, does this "Last Jedi" thing mean Kanan and Ezra definately don't live past the original trilogy?
Or maybe they both quit being Jedi, and become neutrals like the rock guy? Can you quit the Jedi? (Without turning to the dark side or anything.. Just up and quitting the order.) Or is it like the Italian Mafia, where you're in it for life?
