Different iterations of a movie character will be treated different, that's the point of getting new movies. Variety and tradition are fundamental to make a coherent movie series, only short-sighted fake fans will care for one in detriment of the other.
I don't enjoy movies for pretend supremacy of a fictional character. I'm a grown up.

I support my characters you clearly don't care about who wins. That's your deal not mine.

The film wasn't a disappointment to me because I have low expectations from Star Wars films. I embrace the cheese (like the space horse action scene or most of Chewie's scene) and I feel the cinematography was pretty neat. I also liked some of the western vibes here and there.
I kind of wish they went more risqué in the fight coreographies though.

Could be. I still rate RotS higher because the stakes felt more present throughout the film and I liked the action more but the dialogue is definitively better here. Character moments were more evenly distributed here too.

Every ****ing line of Snoke was pure orgasm for me. When you find a character you love you just feel it. Those who have never experienced love don't know what I'm talking about.

DC losers target Disney films. Do not trust audience scores. I knew this smelled rotten.

"whaa they ruined star wars". okay, i hated eps 2,3, and especially rogue one. sure, i voiced my criticisms online, and with much snark, but i sure didn't need to keep aggressively cunting about it as if it gave me cancer. and holy crap all the politicizing over some feminize takeover, get a grip.
