Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Beyond was obviously the weakest of the Treks. Krall was a disappointment and there was just not magic this time.

Funny thing, I was never a Star Trek fan (I know, blasphemy) but I actually enjoyed Into Darkness, as well as the 2009 movie. That said I wasn't bothered to see Beyond....anyone recommend it?

Beyond is considered by a lot of Trek fans to be better than Into Darkness, because Into Darkness borrows heavily from Wrath of Khan and uses manufactured drama rather than actual drama.

You'll see a lot of people like Into Darkness more because it's more of a "blockbuster" type movie.

09 Star Trek is still one of my favorite sci-fi space opera movies I've seen, Into Darkness was a great blockbuster sequel, and I really enjoyed Beyond, though it was more like a long episode from one of the shows.

So far a great series for Nu-Trek, though I'm in agreement with Playa in that the Chris Hemsworth-led Star Trek 4 (14?) is the best of all four films.

The Kelvin films are doing very well just wish they could go higher at the box office.
