I don't think they hate it. I just think they don't give a shit about it and are just gonna milk it for all they can get. Not realizing if they cared about it and the fans they'd probably make more money in the long run.
Seems like they are kinda wising up. I think they aren't going through with that Obi Wan movie. Which wasn't needed.

Which basically means no more stand alone films I guess.Wasted potential there. The stand alone films have been their best stuff so far IMO.
Yeah, it kinda sucks that Solo basically took the brunt of the backlash from The Last Jedi. I was looking forward to that Obi Wan stand alone.
After episode 9 we'll most likely be getting some kind of stand-alone trilogies if that makes sense. Like the one from the Game of Thrones guys is rumored to be set during the old republic. And the Ryan Johnson one is a huge wild card.
I agree, though, I think ditching the yearly release is a good thing. I think Star Wars movies should be special, and having one come out every couple of years would allow for that.

Ya, the movie was absolute garbage. Rian Johnson is a hack. I know some people enjoy it, but this is a turd that you cannot polish. In a few years, the people who said they liked this movie, will deny claiming that.

Not giving credence to the story as I didn't read it, but Social Media wasn't like it is today back 1999-early 2000's, it certainly wasn't weaponized like it is today either
