Perhaps I'm incredibly late to the party, but I'm calling it now: That scene where Luke is lying on the ground and says "this won't go the way you think." is right after Rey kicks his ass in a straight up fight. What is going to happen is Luke declines to train her after seeing her power, and then he finds out she is planning on going and talking to Kylo to find answers about herself and the force, and he tries to stop her. She beats his ass because reasons. Luke then makes the desperate plea to not go, and she does anyway, kinda like when he left yoda but minus the ass kicking.

Doubt it.

Would not surprise me if they have Rey kick his ass.

Your argument is: "killing children doesn't count because it ruins my argument". Bit silly, but expected. A similar situation isn't 'Kylo killing his father' and 'Vader not killing his son'. A parent's love for their children transcends a child's love for the parent, generally speaking. So your comparison fails.

Kylo's playing catch up at best and we'll also have to see if Kylo can pull the trigger in killing his mother, we see him about to cry in the trailer...

Edit: In case you missed it, here is a still of Kylo about to cry

As much as Kylo came across as a petulant teenager it was still a better emotional portrayal than Anakin at the same age.

^ Yeah....just further shows Lucas has lost his touch in directing movies.

Indeed. She will tap her potential or some BS and stomp him into the ground.

Probs cos Adam Driver is a much better actor than Hayden "Mannequin" Christensen. Also the directing.

Still do wonder what the f--k Lucas was thinking when he cast that role. Heath Ledger was available, Jake Gyllenhaal was too. Leonardo DiCaprio probs would have done it.

Yeah the most important character in Star Wars was played by a dipshit.

I'd not call him a dipshit, Christensen was pretty good in 'Life as a House', but he there was much better talent out there for such a major role.

Driver is the best actor of any of the Skywalkers so far.

The guy is a legit actor.

Alright I'm gonna say it, my opinion is that the Lucas prequels are better than TFA and Rogue One. I feel like the prequels are more inspired and endearing

That might be the case, but the Prequels also had alot more wooden acting and other flaws.

didn't matter since he was a shitty director. probably would have micromanaged heath into an even earlier grave.
