Check out audience scores on RT and MT.

This film is very divisive.

dude audience scores don;t mean a damn thing... this film is going to make money... people love it.. deal with it

Rey is powerful AF in the film, but her Force training is still raw.

I bet money that at this rate of progression, Rey will become Exar Kun level Jedi in episode IX.

good 😄 😛

I'd rate this as the worst Star Wars movie yet.

lmao

It's safe to say that a large chunk of this movie's plot is not what ppl wanted to see.

Spoiler:
I used to say that if Disney ever kills off Luke I'm done with Star Wars, but by the time it happened I didn't even give a shit anymore.

So the Ewok films are better than this? The Star Wars Christmas special is better than this? Not sure that one can be classed as a film but phuck it

Kylo was heavily injured for that fight and was unbalanced by murdering his father, while Rey achieved a zen-like connection to the Force.

Luke was also barely trained and pulled off similar shit. The EU has countless other examples of Force users doing similar stuff with no training if they're strong. These movies are making a choice to emphasize that who your parents are or whatever training you've had isn't as important as possessing a strong spiritual connection to the Force and a pure will. Rey is so strong because she's more or less already got the right Jedi spirit. As Yoda pointed out, Rey's already a good person. She doesn't really need training. She already just gets it. And I like that.

And if you need more than that theres the whole "The Force created a champion of Light to match you!" thing.

It's much easier to overpower a foe who is bleeding out than a healthy one.

TFA bowcaster was uber af, much superior to the one Chewie used in the OT.

Sure, Rey's showed a lot of "heart force" in that duel, typical hero moment to shine, but she also had help from Finn...

Y’all forget the first time she overpowered Kylo was when he was trying to extract information out of her.

Kylo wasn’t injured or mentally unbalanced from killing Daddy at that point.

Don’t become the Golgo of Star Wars please. Hype and Money =/= Quality.

So what would you rate it, Darh?

Prob 6/10.

With Star Wars little things can put me off. Things like

Spoiler:
A certain Jedi Master Lightning/burning the ancient Jedi texts. Jedi should appreciate the importance of books.

I'd rather rewatch Justice League than the Last Jedi any day of the week.

And I'm a hardcore Star Wars fan since I was a kid in the 80's.

Spoiler:
Its shown that Rey stole the books in the end. They're in a drawer that Finn opens.

Yoda knew Rey took the books

Has an “A” cinemascore. That’s the first reliable proof that the audience has enjoyed it. Not the Opening Weekend number Lol

Instead of relying on some website why don't you know.....like ask people whos saw it? A lot of people where I live did not like the movie.
