Obviously that's entirely subjective. Perhaps you should have argued that and directly stated it rather than bring up the box office.

I've said it pages ago, this movie is shit.

I will wach it again though just to see if it gets better, though it can't get any worse.

If you think it's shit, don't see it again and move on with your life. I've never understood the mentality of bitching and whining insistently about a film that one dislikes.

I at least want some enjoyment out of this. Go into the film and self harm when you get upset. Right in the theatre and scream out Rian Johnson's name.

Have you seen a DC film?

Nah, can't be mad at him. He was just doing what he thought was right. Sometimes, it is not the person that did wrong, the wrong person was selected for the job.

If you hire an impatient but detailed person to watch toddlers, he will probably not be the most effective person to watch toddlers. He might be better at managing a machine shop or a distribution center.

That's who Rian is: not suited for writing and directing Star Wars movies.

Edit - Rian is better suited to writing a good movie like "The Hours."

I loved his Star Wars. I am happy he's selected for that untitled trilogy and I also get Abrams back to close things off. Abrams will have two Trek films and now two Wars.

My opinion of a Rogue One has improved as well upon rewatching without my perceptions pre watching being at play. I think that's the problem with a lot of fans here that it went so against what they expected that they are to emotional over their personal expectations not being met.

Yes. And yet I don't ***** constantly about them, sign petitions, review bomb RTs, etc. I mentioned my thoughts, aired my gripes and likes, and then moved on. There are far too many good films, TV series, and books to dwell upon ones I dislike.

It's currently sitting at 745 million at the moment. Not bad, but not great. I dunno if it's going to reach even 1.5 billion at this rate. A billion is a lock but how much more who knows.

52% at Rotten Tomatoes and I know not a single person in RL who likes it. Great way to kill a franchise.

Why do you insist on bringing Justice League up? You can't be happy with the 52% RT audience score and the big boxoffice drops.

The audience speaks with their $$$

If it has a bad box office multiplier and doesn’t sell well on Home Entertainment and if Ep. 9’s OW massively underperforms, then you’ll have an argument that audiences didn’t like it. And that’s when Disney execs will notice.

You obviously have one or two friends irl but seeing your posts I can see why. I loved it and know plenty who loved it. Let's bet on if this kills the franchise. I'll take the bet you loser. You are anither online female overreacting when the film is doing just fine. If you want to talk about massive failures I direct you here.

Pitiful.

This will still easily make Avengers level box office Lol

To be a JL level disaster for Star Wars, it’d have to gross less than R1, less than the coming Han Solo Movie, and have like a $500million budget.

The backlash is very real. Still this film will be the biggest film of year easily.

The back last could affect episode 9 unless JJ creates something truly special. Episode is now in danger of being beat by both Lion King and Avengers 4 in 2019.
