I at least want some enjoyment out of this. Go into the film and self harm when you get upset. Right in the theatre and scream out Rian Johnson's name.
Nah, can't be mad at him. He was just doing what he thought was right. Sometimes, it is not the person that did wrong, the wrong person was selected for the job.
If you hire an impatient but detailed person to watch toddlers, he will probably not be the most effective person to watch toddlers. He might be better at managing a machine shop or a distribution center.
That's who Rian is: not suited for writing and directing Star Wars movies.
Edit - Rian is better suited to writing a good movie like "The Hours."

My opinion of a Rogue One has improved as well upon rewatching without my perceptions pre watching being at play. I think that's the problem with a lot of fans here that it went so against what they expected that they are to emotional over their personal expectations not being met.

Have you seen a DC film?
Yes. And yet I don't ***** constantly about them, sign petitions, review bomb RTs, etc. I mentioned my thoughts, aired my gripes and likes, and then moved on. There are far too many good films, TV series, and books to dwell upon ones I dislike.

Why do you insist on bringing Justice League up? You can't be happy with the 52% RT audience score and the big boxoffice drops.
The audience speaks with their $$$
If it has a bad box office multiplier and doesn’t sell well on Home Entertainment and if Ep. 9’s OW massively underperforms, then you’ll have an argument that audiences didn’t like it. And that’s when Disney execs will notice.

52% at Rotten Tomatoes and I know not a single person in RL who likes it. Great way to kill a franchise.
Even lower on metacritic, bro.
4.7 / 10

The backlash is very real. Still this film will be the biggest film of year easily. The back last could affect episode 9 unless JJ creates something truly special. Episode is now in danger of being beat by both Lion King and Avengers 4 in 2019.
the backlash is real in the mind of idiots such as yourself you cannot bring themslelves out of the past and into the future.. This new trilogy was never ever about Luke
