The LS character frees Dramath from the Holocron early in the expansion, but the DS keeps him imprisoned for battle against Valkorion.

So Chapter 7 wanked Nathema to a whole other level, and Charles Boyd confirmed that Nathema's effects were gradually weakened over time. So Meetra was mentally tanking a Nathema that was three centuries more potent than the one that the Outlander and Arcann were both struggling with and needed Valkorion to protect them from.

This also works for Revan too, I imagine.
