99.99% sure that was a Voice.

It is apparent that his 'original body' was more of a horcrux deal, where he could use the Yavin IV temples as a means of escaping the void.

So is his real body still out there just withering away?

It was probably demoted to just another Voice following the Revan fight, and then was destroyed at some point prior to SoR.

Perhaps it was the Voice that was thrown into a star, as Valkorion talks about in KOTFE.

All the ones after the novel are Voices, but after the Wrath and the Hero kill his Voices on Voss and Kaas respectively, he returns to his original body which was clearly on Yavin IV in one of the temples. Vitiate himself went there to scout the temples out, it is highly likely that this was the place the Hands referred to when they said he had returned to original form and was recuperating.

What's the quote he returned to his original body?

The whole point of SoR was Revan trying to get him back into a body.

Well, we know for a fact Revan plans to put Vitiate back into a body. If Vitiate is already in a body on Yavin IV at this time, then it must have been destroyed, presumably by Revan. Every time a Voice dies, Vitiate's overall strength is depleted. Revan wanting to bring back Vitiate again indicates that, if Vitiate were to die again, he would be too weak to take another host and thus would fall into the void. My only issue, though, is that there's no indication Revan (or anyone on Yavin IV) ever killed a Voice, so I'm rather confused here. I assumed that it was the defeat by the Hero of Tython that pushed Vitiate to the final straw, not another Voice down.

Vitiate isn't in a body though, he is slumbering. The Imperial Guard took his body to the Yavin IV Temple to prepare his spirit's return. Hence the outpost. Revan being defeated prevented Vitiate from returning at full power, hence the body was never used.

Ah, makes sense. I read it wrong. 👆

So, then where was the original body in SoR?

In the temple, evidently, but we just didn't see it.

Which temple? The Temple of Sacrifice or the Emperor's Sanctuary?

If the former, then what did Revan plan to do in the Emperor's Sanctuary after the Temple of Sacrifice was destroyed?

If the later, how would that work out? The Emperor reawakes on another side of Yavin IV and Revan teleports to the location to fight him?

I imagine it's the one he ejaculated out of.

Whoa, hold up. There's a fake Thexan in chapter 4?!? WTF! Who is that guy really?

ARIES

I finished the expansion finally. I thought it was pretty great throughout. The final confrontation with Valkorion is perhaps the high-point of the entire game and is very satisfying. I liked that you can essentially just tell him "Oh, whatever gramps. Shut up." in the end. Also liked everyones disgust when he says he has no family.

Kind of wish there was a neutral option to become Empress but not be a dick about it. It feels odd that everyone was saying I should be Empress and looking forward to it and talking about how great and worthy of being Empress I was and then the only option to do it involved me dunking on everyone while people grimace.

Vaylin, Arcann, Senya and the Outlander come out looking very strong in this. Still need to figure things out but all their stock got raised, some considerably.

Valkorion is still godlike and is certainly the strongest Force User in history up to Luke imo.

Spoiler:
When he dies the shockwave through the Force is so strong Satele almost blacks out all the way on Coruscant.

After watching all the cutscenes, light and dark, I haven't seen Revan Ant.

It's a shame after all the whispers of originality, they went the predictable route and had Valkorion try to set the Outlander up to be his meatsuit.

All they would have needed to do to make it better was have that be the option only if the Outlander refused to take the throne as Valkorion's chosen heir.

Lol if you for a second believed Valkorion actually wanted to make you his heir.

I didn't. I'm disappointed that they went the conventional route. Bioware deviates from continuity all the time but never strays from an opportunity to not tell a good story. A shame.
